  • There are an infinite number of musical pitches. Where did our 12 note per octave come from? You'll find the first pitch relationships we ever discovered are still the most important today.

Thank you for all your teachings; everything is so organized and the information progresses in an easily understandable way. Being that I am a true cave"person" where music is concerned and this is essentially the first music theory lesson I've had I have to say that it made a huge impact. The way you tied it altogether at the end of the lesson was truly magical.

Same here! Really glad I stumbled on this! Now I'm wondering whether I should pick up the handbook too for some extra materials as we go along.

Scotty is a true genius. Rarely anyone ever explains why scales work like they do. I'm glad I found this gem of a series. Ordered the book this morning. Best 20 bucks I'll ever spend.

I find bits of information I never knew or useful context I might not have linked in most of the videos in this series so far.
