I love these videos. I'm too lazy to crack open a textbook, but I get annoyed at all of the videos tailored to the general public that skip over all the details of how things work, and wind up being about the same, not enlightening (unless you didn't already see the 1,000,000 other videos just like them), and full of music and special effects to get you into the "mystery and wonder" of the natural world, blah blah.
Fyi there's a shitload of "real science" on RUclips you just have to look for it. They even have full length uni lectures from MIT, Stanford, NYU, UCI, etc.
I don't know why I watch thee videos as I'm absolutely useless at chemistry and especially molecular chemistry. I watch anyway in the hope that my pewnie brain will eventually take in the information and process it correctly. Thanks @ProfessorDaveExplains for making my brain hurt...
