Madam it's a famous eastern dise in UP&Bihar we used to make it on karva chauth and Bhayiadooj mainly made by rice flour with Luke worm water we prepare the dough and after stuffing we prepare it with steam nt with boiled water just like momose with desi ghee or chatney we enjoyed it,in Himachal Pradesh it is also prepare with the same process in seedoo makers there they call it seedoo but the only difference they prepared their flour with yeast or fermented it and prepare with wheat flour. We eat it directly after taking from steam as it's gd with high nutritional value and yummy taste.

Origin of bhakosana is bhakshna. Sanskrit Bhakshan. It's called Faraa in UP. First time I heard the term bhakosa for it from someone in Delhi.
