Just my two cents, if you talk to a lawyer, obviously they will never admit to what is true, neither would they agree to the interviewer. The other issue that I have is the use of the verb “insist” these lawyers can not insist on anything, but they will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the evidences are favourable for them the defendant. They way I would have approach the interview is to ask the lawyer about the topic of attorney-client privilege. The next question is, how will you prove to the judge or jury to prove without a reasonable doubt that the document from NBI may be used or can it be excluded? I would have probe on the issue about this lawyer last communication with his client. What are their action plan regarding the document. If other evidence becomes available arethey willing to concede and cooperate instead of dragging this case? Finally, don’t let your emotions play or show during the interview. Remember, you’re trying to know how they think, not to fish for information that could incriminate their client.

Just my two cents, if you talk to a lawyer, obviously they will never admit to what is true, neither would they agree to the interviewer.
The other issue that I have is the use of the verb “insist” these lawyers can not insist on anything, but they will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the evidences are favourable for them the defendant.
They way I would have approach the interview is to ask the lawyer about the topic of attorney-client privilege.
The next question is, how will you prove to the judge or jury to prove without a reasonable doubt that the document from NBI may be used or can it be excluded?
I would have probe on the issue about this lawyer last communication with his client. What are their action plan regarding the document. If other evidence becomes available arethey willing to concede and cooperate instead of dragging this case?
Finally, don’t let your emotions play or show during the interview. Remember, you’re trying to know how they think, not to fish for information that could incriminate their client.
In other countries, lawyers would be criminally liable if they concoct & collaborate with client in lying in court

Yeah I agree, wala pa napapatunayan. Only the honorable court can tell who’s telling lies. Di ka pwedeng magconclude at mag bigay hatol sa isang tao na di dumadaan sa tamang process. Bawat tao ay may karapatan ipagtanggol ang sarili at makaavail ng isang abogado na magtatanggol sa kanya. Nasa korte na ang magiging pasya kung sino ang nagsasabi ng totoo. Guilty sya if mapatunayan na ng korte, pero hanggang hindi pa nadidinig ang kaso at wala pang hatol, maituturing na inosente ang isang tao. Lahat ay dumadaan sa due process. Hanggang walang napapatunayan, mananatili itong allegations. Ang batas natin ay walang kinikilingan pero dapat dumaan yan sa tamang proseso.

A counsel defending someone whether he/she is a criminal or not is part of due process of law as prescribed in our Constitution (Article III, Section 1). I strongly believe Mayor Guo is a chinese, but nobody (media, or even the Senate, etc) can declare the truth except the Court after litigation of her case. We should respect Lawyer’s job as defense counsel kahit alam nila from the start that his client is a murderer or criminal.
