Because of this revelation Alice Guo does not exist, it's just a fictitious name. The real person in herself is Guo Hua Ping a Chinese girl from Fujian, china. There is no Filipino by the name of Alice Guo. So therefore, the name Alice Guo should be deleted in all government records, particularly in the PSA, BI, DFA, etc.. Her driver's licence must be revoked, bank accounts, SSS etc. Her properties should be sequestered by the government because they were fraudulently acquired. She should be stripped off of her position as mayor of Bamban, Tarlac. She'll be denied of her Filipino citizenship because she lied and cheated the government. She has to be jailed and after serving her punishment, she has to be deported to her country of origin and be banned from coming back forever.

I agree, It seems like this is the logical route for this case. Further investigation is needed. I'd to know who or what was behind this from the beginning. Bringing this Guo person into the Philippines as a teenager, then this elaborate ploy to gain citizenship seems very complicated. This is a decades long endeavor.
It seems obvious that there were thoughts of buying property and setting up businesses from the beginning. Why else would one need to gain citizenship. Gaining a mayor position is on a grander scale of complexity, buy it would be worth the effort to gain power in influence.
Back to my question, who or what? It makes sense for a crime syndicate to do this. Could there be a CCP connection as well. Could this be a thing orchestrated by the Ministry of State Security? To infiltrate as many possible municipalities to gain political influence. We all know that there are CCP plants within organizations in the US, UK, Australia, and other countries to gain political influence. Is it probably that the same is happening in this case? If Chinese crime syndicates are already established in a country, then I'm sure the MSS would want to use them when possible.
Karen, just a few points for you to ponder: 1. The character of Amelia Leal was invented in order for Alice to have a legitimate claim to PH citizenship. 2. There is a whale of a difference between a Chinese SRIV holder and a Filipino citizen, foremost of which is the right to run for public office and the right to own land. 3. Nationality/citizenship cannot be proven by DNA test per se, unless you’re comparing samples with one who’s determined to be Filipino. Citizenship is not determined by race. 4. Grace Poe’s case is ENTIRELY different; Alice Guo is not a foundling, and makes no pretension to be a foundling. She claims to a have been born to a Filipino mother. Consulting a lawyer before doing these interviews is not a bad idea.

Yes. Citizenship is not determined by race, but if the DNA test shows very low Filipino gene percentage, that obviously proves that she was lying regarding her mother as being a Filipino (of race) kasambahay.

If the Bamban POGO site is to be acquired by the government, sana i-offer nila to University of the Philippines. UP can transform that into an extension university or professional schools. Perhaps a unified campus between UP Diliman and UP Manila to enhance medicine education? UP system medical school? A lot of potential there.

To be a child out of wedlock is not new in the Philippines. There were lots of cases where Chinese business/store owners to father childs of their helps(katulong) which is really not plausible nor impossible. These were never recorded, I am 84 years old now and I can attest to the fact that such case happened.
Sen. Gatchalian is very thorough, sincere, competent , educated, and respectable. We NEED these kind of persons to be elected!
