As a kid I was intimated by Mrs. Tweedy for how authoritative she was. But the fact that she doesn’t seem to say any words from this point forward freaked me out even more, like she’s gone completely animalistic.
"Ah cannae work miracles, Cap'n! We're givin' her all she's gawt!" Lynn Ferguson's delivery makes that a great line, whether you get the Star Trek reference or not! 😂😂
It is that really hard hit of euphoria. When you finnaly figure out how to do something. For me, it was when I finnally learned how to drive. That was a good day. I had such a hard time with it. Same thing with the pod racing scene, when anakin fires up the pod racer for the first time. It's working!!! It's Working!!!! Nothing better than that feeling of success.
0:58 I feel like not enough people talk about the sacrifice Ginger was making when she jumped off the plane to fix the ramp. When she did that she must’ve known that if she set that ramp and the plane took off, she was gonna be left behind. She was ready to give up her one shot at freedom just so everyone else could achieve theirs. And when you dig deeper, this action was a huge moment in character development for Ginger. In the opening montage of the film, Ginger was always the one spearheading the attempts to escape, because she desired freedom more than anyone else did. But in the most critical moment, she didn’t hesitate to be the one to stay behind so her friends could be saved. It’s a great moment that I feel seems to get lost in the intensity of the scene.
All the time I thought Ginger managed to chew through the cables, I never noticed before Mrs Tweedy severing them with her axe until the last time I watched this movie.
2:40-2:48 If I was in Wolf's place, I would have honestly done the same to Shark, Piranha and Tarantula after they saved him and Diane from the spinning blades in "The Bad Guys".
When the chickens built the plane and were ready to take off to finally escape from the chicken farm reminds me of when the ants built and flew the fake bird to finally get rid off the grasshoppers from A Bug's Life.
Remember when we were kids and some parts of this scene seemed almost plausible? Like somehow building a plane was easier than getting some wire cutters to take down the fence, or just a few basic weapons to kill an enemy you outnumber 100/1?
2:54 Zazu: Great Scott! What was that!? Mack: A cling-on, Cap'n! And the engines can't take it! 3:01 Mrs. Tweedy: [SNARLING ANGRILY] Ginger/Rocky Rhodes: Whoa!
00:01-02:01 Cast: Cathy Cavadini as Doremi Harukaze Andrea Libman as Hadzuki Fujiwara Ashleigh Ball as Aiko Senōo Claire Corlett as Pop Harukaze Noah Cyrus as Onpu Segawa Hynden Walch as Hana-Chan Makihatayama Alanna Ubach as Momoko Asuka
Maria Fe Montallana the Tweedys went seaweed farming in Scotland after that. It was in a book on the film. Guess they didn’t want to take any more chances with anything that could be organised.

Literally a second before this clip started:
"Chocks away!"
*removes box of chocolate holding the plane*
Me: Clever.
"Ah cannae work miracles, Cap'n! We're givin' her all she's gawt!"

2:15 my favourite shot of the film, absolutely beautiful seeing Gingers dreams come to life

Makes me shed a tear
The music is what makes this scene. The soundtrack is one of the best motion picture scores out there!
It's funny how you see two Star Trek references "I'm giving her all she's got" and a clingon (Klingon) captain!"
LLP 🖖🖖🖖
"The engines can't take it!" is another
3:15
Fowler: Increase Velocity!
3:17
Babs: What does that mean?
3:18
Bunty: It means pedal your flippin' giblets out!
😅
It’s Bunty ya git.
Oh shoosh.
3:42 And to think Ginger actually had to tell Fowler to look out. Fowler should've been paying attention to where he was going. Some pilot he is.
He never flew a plane, he was a mascot.
@@Christoph8 Even then, he should know to pay attention to where he's flying towards.
He’s a chicken the Royal Air Force can’t let chickens operate the controls of a complex aircraft
I’m sure he was worried for Ginger, looking back to make sure Mrs. Tweedy didn’t chop her up yet
@@CannonZeroKiryu How would he even be able to see that?
4:49 no one is going to talk about how ginger carried her with only one hand ?
Yes...as if chickens creating a airplane out of a hen house had you believing...you suspended your belief to take shots at that moment?

4:48 Jesus, you realise Ginger is a super strong chicken able to hold the weight of a person with one of her wings!
In that case, they should've escaped easily a long time ago
4:21 Rocky: MORE AMMO HURRY
Nick: we got no more eggs
Rocky: Ginger LOOK OUT

The funniest shit to me is how ginger thinks she can cut the christmas tree lights with pre school scissors. Those don't cut anything lol.
Babs is just as scatterbrained for even handing her such a shitty pair of scissors.

3:56 for all the canyon kids from 2019 trying to find the trumpet feature 💀

After Mrs. Tweedy pushed the ramp back down, she said to Ginger, "you are going to be a pie".
2:54 Zazu: Great Scott! What was that!?
