Great concert, thanks for the upload ! #davidbowieforever
How attractive Bowie was ... I still get a meltdown when I see him.
Still I can't imagine that he is out of this world. 💔💔💔
DAVID you never die,you live in our heart.
This is one of your most beautiful performances I love. LOVE YOU DAVID. HEAVEN!
I mean this with the utmost respect.
"Cactus" is already a sexy song. I have scoured YT for every Bowie version (respectfully)...
Because it's outta-this-world sexy when DB sings it.
I was here! I bought a ticket from another fan from the Bowiewonderworld forum. I thought maybe it was all too good to be true, but there she was waiting for me at the Festival Hall - thank you Simone, I've never forgotten your name! Jonathan Ross was playing songs in the foyer as a warm-up, I just hung around people watching. David and the band were beautiful. After the gig I ran home for the last train, such nice memories :)
I suspect this was my friend Simone.. I am so glad you got to be there. I am so glad we all did.. I've been to many Bowie gigs but this was something I never thought I'd witness.
@@AthynVixen I'm eternally grateful to her! Should find lots of ticket holders (still got mine) and listen to Low/Heathen on the south bank :)
The saxophone OMG I feel so honoured to see him play other than guitar.. was i think the only time.. rare treat ..I know they were all the usual oldies but I always thought the encores were on FIRE that night.. still remember the energy..
The date was 29th June 2002 - Happy 20 year anniversary! I was there, from across the pond.
What a gig. What a great set list. Full Low and Heathen albums plus few old hits
My David: I love you; I love you; I love you! From the moon to the sky
Great Bowie performance thansk for the upload
Have a wonderful night. With nice dreams. Love you.
Very nice. Thanks for the upload
That's my favourite artist.😄
Thank you very much for all uploading
This made my day! Thank you😁
Brilliant. Wish I could have been there x
I was there.I paid £250 for a £22.50 ticket.Didn't care,I saw David many times and this was one of the best. Also saw him a week or so later at Manchester.
Me too- paid £200 for a ticket in the balcony but managed to get in to the stalls during the interval. Worth every penny but resent the touts who snapped up all the tickets, they must have made a killing.
@@rodjacob1000 I didn't even buy from a tout,it was Ticketmaster I think.I didn't know at the time that David was playing Manchester and those tickets were face value £25 and I was right at the front.I saw him at Wembley in '03 and Isle of Wight '04,the last full British show.
Stephen Hartnell WOW you are the one of the luckiest!! I wish I could been just one of the gig.
It rained heavily at the Manchester show....
@@martinandrews7380 That's right.Hard to believe it was nearly 20 years ago.
Milioni di artisti milioni di cantanti milioni di cantautori ma un solo Bowie......per sempre
Thank You.
I especially like "Angels Have Gone " the way he performs this is just wonderful !
He was one very very very talented human being
It's hard to imagine bowie himself saying he was ev-va shy on stage.Just watch him perform and you will get excited!!!!
Espectacular . gracias por compartir ☺️👌🏼
Great, thank you. ;)
Merci beaucoup 🙏...
great love to DAVID BOWIE and his band
❤ the Cocteau Twins , they make the most beautiful, hip , crisp Arctic sounding Northern Lights music to my ears. And such interesting visuals , endearing all around.
He isn’t dead, he is on Mars watching over us.
Is there life on Mars?
jesus, thanks
Always start with a real crowd pleaser!

"Gimme your hand"
It's too bad you had to use a clickbait word "meltdown" to get us to click on an otherwise great performance. Please explain how any Bowie concert in 2002 could possibly be a "meltdown." Such is the internet world we live in: even fans of a rock god will use a pejorative term against him to get more views...
The ‘meltdown’ concerts are an annual series of week shows chosen by one artist, in this case David Bowie, who also performs a show themselves.
Bloodyhell
DVid Bowie. Montreux
Aeroplanes in the sky. WAR?
Eso es MUSICA
It must be Deer hunter :-)
Meltdown? What dob you mean ?
festival is called meltdown
Meltdown is an annual festival held at the South Bank Centre in London. Each year, a different artist curates the show and chooses acts to appear during the festival. It has become traditional that this artist will close the festival with a performance. Bowie was the curator in 2002 and this is the set he closed the festival with.
See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meltdown_(festival) for more information.
Clickbaity title. @ meltdown festival
OK Thanks
David Bowie needs to get his own keyboard and stop crowding that dude. Also, that's Warszawa first.
That happened legit two decades ago chill
That WAS David Bowie’s keyboard.
It wasn’t first
Pesima grabacion !!
