pro tip: you can blade blockade recover after a light or heavy so if they try and dodge out of your chain they’re punished for it. doesn’t work on dodge bashes obviously but it’s a good tool to keep up pressure in a chain
one more thing, if you have someone backed up against a wall or close to one, you can blade blockade then press the guardbreak button instead of heavy or light and that will perform a kick which if the enemy is close to a wall will give you a wall splat, once they hit the wall you can get a side heavy off which is way more damage than a regular blade blockade
