I've built for years and did a complete wire job first in my teens. The deal with you is you explain stuff so well. Not only are you a great builder but you are a great instructor.
Very helpful! I planned on using a turn signal switch that was made for a Massey Ferguson on dash of my 49 International pickup. I got intimidated by all the terminals on the back of the switch so I never hooked up the turn signals. Your video gave me the confidence I needed to try figure out how to wire the turn signals. Truck originally came with only one taillight and no turn signals. Thank you for the video I appreciate you sharing your projects.
Lee. I think wiring is one of those jobs that most people put off due to a lack of confidence. But when it’s explained in the way you have, and you do it your self you understand that in the most part it’s power in power out. Your indicator toggle switch is very classy. I’ve never seen one like that before. And the 32 just gets better the more you get closer to the finish line. Many thanks take care Tim.
Hey Lee, Great video series! Love your videos! One tip- Use twist ties from the supermarket during the wiring process to keep the wires clean and organized. When finished, you can use the proper clamps and zip ties you wish to use. I also enjoy seeing your travel videos showing your part of the world! Keep on!
Thanks for the lesson on wiring lights Lee, the 32 ford has come a long way since the first time you drove it home, can't wait to see it on a cruse. Thanks again.
Car is looking great! I'll be on the lookout for you tomorrow, on the hunt for Jeep parts but unlikely there be any there maybe be something else cool!
Lee loved this video you make it clear and simple with your explanation and that is a cool turn signal switch never seen one that will self cancel keep them coming Mike
Such a good wiring video I was momentarily fantasizing ripping out all my wiring and doing it all over... then my wife cuffed me upside my head saying, "Don't put me through your moods with your wiring issues again!".
The dimmer switch could have activated the relay correct and not needed the larger wires and could have gotten away with the smaller guage wires on the connector. I just got a wiring harness from speedway and was cheaper than buying all the spools of wire when I was pricing it out and helped me with learning how to set up the circuits so on my other projects I have I can build my own from scratch. Thanks for the content it's helped out me out getting through some areas I was struggling on.
That blue is going to look bitchin on this thing - and the chop is perfect from straight on. This is going to look so good! This car is going to make a massive impression! I can tell - cause Lux was expressing the very same thing.
Have you ever tried the new LED headlight bulbs? They are so much brighter and the power draw is so small a generator can keep up with no issue. No one know you have them until you use them at night. There are also some that are self focused so you don't need a good reflector.
Another great and easy to understand video. It’s much appreciated as there are very few good wiring videos, most jump over things and miss areas of importance. A question for you though…. Do you find it beneficial to draw up a final wiring diagram with your color selections for future reference? Thanks again 👍🏼👍🏼
In the 70's some English cars imported to Australia came with plastic stalk switches before relays were common. You can't drive 6 hours on high beam without them melting without a relay
I dunno… Guide 682’s have them on top. But I don’t think I could do it, these BLC lights are just so clean looking and uninterrupted, I feel like bolting a pointy chrome thing on top would be to Liberace for my taste.
I could be in to a train horn! I put horns on the 47 advertised as “Train Horns” and while they’re loud and sound good, they’re definitely not a train horn haha
Nice job explaining the "mystery " of electrical wiring. You are a good teacher. Thanks
Thanks!

Lux getting his two cents in was great😂

I think Lux was making his own video!

Awesome idea!
Good rundown on wiring
Thanks for the lesson on wiring lights Lee, the 32 ford has come a long way since the first time you drove it home, can't wait to see it on a cruse. Thanks again.
Awesome! Mines getting close also running and driving, exhaust is in,fenders and running boards next and get some miles on it. Can't wait.
Exciting!
Awesome job you very talented. 🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank you Badge
Sure dig the copper steering tube and cup !!
Great job, clean and functional, nice job of explaining the process also. A+ 💯🆒👍
Thanks!
I like it.. Another item checked off. Good Job Lee
Another informative video. Always learning from you.
Glad to hear it!
Dude!!! Thank you, I did learned something!!!✌️
Thanks for sharing, always interesting!
Greetings from NZ. Great tip about the direction of bullet connectors Lee.
Car is looking great! I'll be on the lookout for you tomorrow, on the hunt for Jeep parts but unlikely there be any there maybe be something else cool!
Lee your POWER SERIES is gonna save my ass! SALUTE!

Another awesome and informative vid mate, thankyou it’s much appreciated.
Nicely done Lee 👍😎
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video! absolutely love the fenders!
Great video dude!
Glad you like them!

Excellent even for dummy

The dimmer switch can be used to trigger the relay, but then you’ll need two relays, one for high beam, one for low beam.
Excellent , Thanks !
very informative

Haha thanks!
Awesome stuff 👍
Thanks
Well done thanks for all the detailed education.
Glad it was helpful!

I’ve seen them, but never used them before. I’ve never had issues with a regular old 7” sealed beam

It’s probably not a bad idea to draw a final diagram, but I never do haha.

1970’s England was known for their top quality cars haha
those indicators im British/blinkers flashers would have looked nice on top of the headlights.
I dunno… Guide 682’s have them on top. But I don’t think I could do it, these BLC lights are just so clean looking and uninterrupted, I feel like bolting a pointy chrome thing on top would be to Liberace for my taste.
My OCD kicked in with the headlight plug. I would have rewired it to match the coming wires.
Fair
Thank you, job well done. Is there a light at the end of the turn indicator stalk?
No, the red knob on the end doesn’t have a light in it. It would sure be cool if it did though
Outside of Toronto bigger signal lights are a must for the idiots who pay no attention unless they can see you. But BC drivers are alot more curtious.
They are? I always drive as if everyone else on the road is trying to kill me. Seems to be working out.
Did you find a 6v horn?
I have a 6v Klaxon for ya.
I did at last weekend swap meet! Thanks
We'll know you've taken too long to finish a video when Lux is headed to college.
How about a train horn?
I could be in to a train horn! I put horns on the 47 advertised as “Train Horns” and while they’re loud and sound good, they’re definitely not a train horn haha
How about an mg midget hooter very crisp and cheep!
Lee how about an mg midget horn cheep and powerful.
You should talk less and show more actual work just a thought
Turn the volume down if offended, I appreciate the time and effort he does to explain what he’s doing.
That makes sense. Draws boxes and lines on a piece of paper with no comment. WTF.
You okay? You seem stressed. Need a hug?
You make it very clear, even for an old guy! Very clever turn signal cancellation, Hope you can keep it and solve the one brake light issue!
