Superbowl of Sports Trivia - Notre Dame vs Rutgers

This is one of ESPN's first game show efforts in concert with the Boardwalk and Baseball amusement park. Here we have College Bowl but with sports trivia. Chris Berman hosts this show and shows that he can really do it all. This got 2 seasons and could easily be brought back for ESPN+

BTW, each season totaled to 31 episodes, 62 episodes in all. 16 first round matchups then 8 second round match, then 4 quarterfinals, then 2 Semi-Finals and then the Championship Finale where one University would take home a total of $10,000.

This first round matchup is from the first season, VTR'd in December 1987. Wish there's a complete episode guide for this show since this did appear on ESPN Classic before Stump The Schwab even premiered.
