His mom was kinda stand offish but still kind, his father was very soft spoken but sweet. His dad and I get along really well, and go on fishing trips, and movie dates together. His mom and I get along just fine. We do a lot of shopping and hiking together. He is white and I’m salvadorian, so I was just very nervous when I met his family for the first time. Funny you asked that question...I actually had to break up my relationship yesterday because his family weren't willing to get to know me or anything like that, like they just didn't care and that's uncomfortable for me because I can't consider having a family with that person if his parents don't accept me or let me in. We've been together for 3 years. I tried to make it work but of course when things get serious I had to consider the possibilities, a major one being I wouldn't want my kids around people I don't know (his family) 🤷🏽♀️
