My wife and I just toured the Delaware Mine two days ago, during the tour the operators mentioned your video. It's so cool to see what the rest of the mine looks like. Your video of this great piece of Michigan history is so interesting. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. I know nothing about diving, but I think diving in a flooded mine would be one of the more dangerous things you could do, I'm amazed by your accomplishment.
Great tour of the old mine workings. Voice over telling what we are looking at would make it even better. Most people would have no idea what the areas/items are or would be used for.
It was nice to see what the shafts looked like now years later and slowly filled up with water and preserve them for now. But my Imagination runs wild to think of the day when the men were in there working. It would have been nice to be there then to get a firsthand look at the work that had been done. I give credit to everybody who made this video exploration possible. I myself would have loved to have been on the dive team.
I spent summers in Bete Gris not far from the Delaware mine in the early 60's. There were still operational copper mines but the Delaware mine had been long closed. I spent much time searching the huge piles of mine tailings for copper nuggets at the Delaware mine site. With some success!. a suggestion loose the music perhaps a brief narration would be better.
When they were mining, they also had to continuously pump out of the mine once they go below the water table. As soon as they stopped pumping the mine started filling up with water.
I'm sure you've done far more worthwhile things with your life, haven't you? I can just tell, you're the high achieving, interesting type, right? Where's the videos of you doing cool stuff?

I've been in the Delaware a couple of times. It's interesting to see now what was below me. Thank you for the videos.
Just toured the mine today. That would be so cool to see the lower levels.

It takes courage to explore an underwater mine; I am getting claustrophobic just watching the video.
The fact it's 9 levels deep is insane...
Curious, are folks diving other mines in the area? I haven’t been able to find much. Looks pretty awesome!!
I’ve been wondering what’s down there since I was a little kid, it was like a dream!
Great footage. When are you going to publish your footage from 2014?
Fantastic and very. very interesting!

How did they flood?
When they were mining, they also had to continuously pump out of the mine once they go below the water table. As soon as they stopped pumping the mine started filling up with water.
Outstanding !!
Pretty awesome video!
Amazingly cool.
That's very wide gauge for mine rail.
As if mines aren't dangerous enough.... these daredevils say lets dive in a flooded one 😮💪
Nice video!
Im a scuba dive myself would love to be there. But at the same time not a snow ball chance in hell. To many things could go wrong.
Hard to imagine those miners in there with far, far less light...
Super cool. Great
Wow.
Just like those folks on Everest when the earthquake hit, it only takes one mistake to win a free trip to eternity doing this sort of thing.
What did you actually find down there that required your dive? Nothin' And you music gives me a headache.
Wow your a real piece of work aren't ya
