Primary sheave bolt torque spec is 184 ft-lbs for those that use hand tools. If you guys have enough mileage to where your secondary sheave needs to be serviced, there's enough Tinkseal provided with the sheave kit that you can service your secondary with it.
what did yo have to take apart to get to the clutch housing etc. I saw another video that required the seat, panels and other things needing to be removed?
@@Hunterworks good deal… i’m in Alabama… when mine gets to 1500 miles or so I may try to contact you and make an appointment about coming over…i just got the X2 1000
Dude! 184 was brutal! I'm feeling my age today. Todd, your video made it easy. Thank you for making it.

I actually do not recall, it's been 5 years. The two and four seat are different, just some plastic under the fenderwell on the two seat.
Great video Todd,
Thanks
I live in a very dusty environment would you still recommend your clutch kit
Sure, just might have to get a blow out kit and or run grease in it
So almost all the primary clutches i have played with had timing or balancing marks. You didn't seem to line anything up?
Not on these
@@Hunterworks good to know. Thanks
Is the rmax 1000 xtr basically the same set-up as the x2 and x4
No, all different and we do not offer anything for it.
Where did you get that bolt that you screw into the front, to loosen up the belt
We have them in a box here, just a 30mm long 6mmx1.25 fully threaded bolt you can get most anywhere.
@@Hunterworks thank yoy
Why no grease in the weights?
Why put grease in there? We have been greaseless since 2008, along with every other roller weight style clutch on the planet except yamaha.
I’ve got a 19 x2 with 28 tires. Will I need to do any flash or other modifications? Thanks
Chris Weatherspoon need and want two things. Need no want maybe. Better performance in all areas
Ok thanks. So I could start with this and add the weller tune later to not take such a big hit in the wallet at one time correct?
@@cspoon123 That is correct
Where are you located
