I recently reconnected with my ex. It’s been two years since we separated. One since we divorced. He was trembling when he saw me in person. He even admitted he was afraid. We haven’t gotten to “the talk” yet but I can only imagine how it’s going to be . . . For both sides. Pray for us.

Be more like Jesus and know even at one time I also had to face what I have done to others, but I went back and asked for forgiveness for what I have done. People have the right to not forgive, but forgiveness is for the person who was hurt. I believe that all people can change and be healed. They stopped their own blessing for what they done. I want them to know the love of Christ Jesus.

Sometimes though the pain and the mental anguish they caused is so horrible and shatters your soul so completely that one has to crawl away and try and heal, alone. Sadly, when the healing happens, the feelings for them are gone and cannot be resurrected. Time has a way of letting you stand back and see just how cruel their actions were. It’s hard to admit to yourself when you love someone that they just didn’t love you back and in fact may have actually hated you for their own various reasons. The memories are like a beautiful fire that from a distance might be mesmerizing to watch but in your soul, you absolutely know from experience never ever to get too close again.

Girl! It's like you were in my situation with me! I appreciate this word so much because this is it! You have described this person to the T, but there is no more because the pain was so severe. I have to keep moving forward and just keep this person uplifted in prayer. I mean, the person would treat me like I was their enemy, and it would hurt because I put in so much effort and energy to support this person. I lost myself and even opportunities. Now, things are different. I sent a long text message expressing my standards, boundaries, and how I truly felt about the trajectory of the relationship and their treatment of me. I had never until that point had this type of courage and strength, I truly thank my Lord Jesus! In order to break through, I had to break, but I don't feel weaker like I thought I would.
