Funny how they nearly all come in protesting their innocence,but automatically assume evry new prisoner is guilty!

The character Lexi gets away with screaming at everyone including Myra. Oh wait the character is played by the producers daughter lol. No wonder she's in almost every scene and has the most lines out of any character.
And stands out,by miles, that she can't act.Lexie is Bobbie MrK 2, chronically self-absorbed, doesn't know the meaning of the word 'responsibility',and a psychic vampire to boot! Can't stand either of them,why do people bother with them,they wouldn't in real life???🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🇬🇧♥️♥️♥️🐊🐊🐊
And the freak in trousers means only one thing.....trouble....
....and so the Ballinger siege begins...this story arc is by far one of the best but also saddest periods in the entire series
I like Myra as a top dog
In some ways I like her even better than Bea but in some ways I like Bea better, they are both excellent though. Some people don't seem to realize what actually makes a good top dog and they like people like Lou Kelly or Reb in the position and that, my dears, is simply bad judgement. The Beas and Myras last much longer as well even in real life.
Nobody used to complain when Judy used to slam her fat bbq fingers on the piano every rec period. Still it was hilarious what Alice did lol the only time she's done anything decent.
joan's hair is a little freaky lol, and now she's wearin pants? if she starts wearin a leather jacket and gets fat i'll just think she's jock stewart! :P

This gets me everytime I watch. I loved the Myra era she seemed to have more attempts on her life than previous top dogs.

Oliver M Well, the characters in this series are not all tough and strong mentally and emotionally, like say, Bea, Myra, Lou and even Lexie, so it reflects people in real life even to this day.
The other thing is that Lynn in her first stint was innocent like Jennifer is here too.
We saw Jennifer playing the piano in the drawing room, when her grandmother's tapping (with her walking stick) for help on the ceiling stopped suddenly. Then she came upstairs to find her grandmother with a beaten and bloodied head because of the table lamp, which she naively picked up, leaving her fingerprints when the intruder must have worn gloves.
We also know that before her grandmother was murdered, she was almost smothered. She shouted for help and told what happened. She told Jennifer to check the wardrobe and apparently the window, not believing her grandmother, thinking she had a bad dream, but the window had a part of the curtain caught in it, so an intruder had gotten in and then back out again.
The women didn't mind Judy making a racket on the Piano, but when someone plays it properly they don't like it.
Judy was very underestimated on the piano..her little interludes gave peace and class to the rec themes
Moving straight on to the next episode, what a cliff hanger !! Can't wait !!
All Lexi does it shout, claims nothing is ever her fault and plays the victim 😂😂

These next few episodes are some of the best in the entire series. Absolute nail biters, with shocking, graphic, and tragic scenes. Myra is brilliant in these episodes. She certainly goes out with a bang.

The Ballinger siege certainly sees the show's high point for quite a while. I hadn't actually watched these eps the first time round in the 90s, so this is all new to me.

I think at this stage Ann did feel bad for all she put Myra through.
and well she should, you need to treat everyone equally to a point, but you also need to realize that some are a cut above the others and make some allowance for that not make it obvious of course but give some leeway, believe them, cut them a little slack etc. For example Myra Desmond is far above someone like Ruth Ballinger or Lou Kelly and a far far better person and deserves better treatment.

Nora has to be THE most selfish person in Prisoner. She wants a baby at ANY cost. She doesn't care if its born in prison OR that it will be taken from her in 5 years. My least favourite character

Lorna young is the longest serving prisoner background actress. But with the occasional line she gets I think it was episode 2 until then end.
Still not sure why Myra saved The Freak.
I think it might have been because Myra wouldn’t have been able to have proven the Freak’s part in the murder attempt and she would have lagged on Lou and Ruth, which she knew not to do despite hating their guts.
Lou nearly dropped Ruth in it as well saying that the Freak was part of it, and Ruth told her to shut up.
Myra thankfully didn’t have to lag on them both, but she did back the Freak’s story that she saved her life, which dropped them in it already. 😃
Why Myra!!!! This was the perfect time to get rid of Ferguson!!!

How many times has Lou kill Myra now, strangle, elecution, a beating, drug overdose, this is now the 4th time
How old is Jenny? How does she not understand why she's in jail and why they can't just "let her go" simply because she claims she shouldn't be there. I can tell her incessant "you don't understand I shouldn't be here" whining is going to piss me off very quickly. Also, note how she's never once mentioned the fact that her grandmother claimed to have been almost murdered by an intruder the night before, and how she didn't believe her. Instead of saying "I don't know if I did it, I'm so confused," she could have said "it's all my fault, she swore someone tried to kill her last night and I wouldn't believe her and now she's dead." It might at least have put some doubt in Grace's mind. But no, as usual in Prisoner, characters fail to offer the most obvious defense when they're accused of something.

Not being able to get spoilers and no way of leaks I bet this siege and what happens during wud of been a proper shock it's a shame that this kind of excitement and suspense isn't the same as it wud of been back then altho I bet the wait was a nightmare 😲🤯🤣
Id better not read any more comments yntil the episodes over to avoid spoilers. So many people talking about this being the ultimate storyline etc...i think ive narrowly avoided accidently spoiling it all for myself already. Hope things live up to the reputation.

The screw uniform details drive me up the wall. Didn't Terri have pips when we first saw her? She looks like a junior officer now (though Joan didn't get hers till after about 20 episodes which was ridiculous as she obviously was not a JO when she first arrived at WDC). Dennis doesn't have "Wentworth" on his arms.
Right!! That Lexy is really starting to get on my bloody nerves!!! Just because she was one of the producers daughter does not mean she should get away with such bad acting. She has to shout every time she talks and where did she get such a long prison shirt from!! And while Im on my soap box how can that one feel her baby move when she is only a few weeks pregnant. Its about 20 weeks and then its only like bubbles popping, you have to be quite far on for it to stop you in your tracks the way its done with her!
Lesley Thwaites Lexie has been doctoring her uniform shirts for a long time.. She added the extra length and different colour patches herself .. Dunno how she got away with it!!... When the Freak cut off her braids, she was just about to chop up some more uniforms, which is why she had the scissors and had started to rip one of the shirts at the seams.. Anyway.. Yeah she got away with it!!
