R A Salvatore has had such an impact on my life as I have read his novels, I have written a fantasy series and the first novel will be out soon, already had cool reviews, and I just want to thank this man for being an inspiration. My characters really came to life with this support. He is one of the most genuine people I know.
The Lone Drow Trilogy is so awesome. It had such a good journey, and he wrote the perfect amount of blood into the fight scenes. It's epic fantasy at its finest. Child of a Mad God is really good too. His writing is so well polished nowadays, I'm jealous.
I will b buying all your drizzt books as I have been for long as I can remember but I gotta say..bob.Drittz is only special because you made him special. Your drow lore is legendary and I'm 100% sure there still hanging in menzoberranzan in your head and campaigns no matter what Disney tells you..or wotc
A movie has to be done.. like CGI or Japanese animation.. all you need is a voice.. I've got the perfect voice for wolfgar Arnold Schwarzenegger if he's still alive.. I'm not sure about the rest of them..
As soon as I heard about the signed copy of "Dao of Drizzt", was online ordering ..... Over 1 year later ... .still no book, no update from Forbidden Planet of the ETA, all I get when requesting one is .. "still waiting on supplier" nothing else. Very poor customer service.
Sa far the first 113 pages have been about drow elves in the underdark. After 39 books I'm tired of hearing about that lol so I just skip over them. I'm sure I'm missing out but I just want to read about drittz , jarlaxle and the other heros
@@CurlyFromTheSwirly well I bought the newest book that just came out and so far most of it is in the underdark with the drow elves. More politics .......
@@maximarpgmobileboy3019, I loved the story for so long. Until RA backpeddled wigh The Companions it was the best story. I have read it multiple times, especially The Dark Elf Trilogy. I grudgingly read through Companions Codex, Homecoming, and Generations; which was 9 books of what could have been done in 3 books. Plus it's mostly just Legacy Of The Drow on steroids. I would have rather the Companions not came back and Drizzt had traveled more with Artemis.
Personally I'm enjoying it. My favorite parts of the drizzt series are when it's dealing with the drow and their politics and power struggles. Haven't read this one yet about to start but I'm looking forward to the coming drow civil war
Bob is a sell out to fake liberal ideologies. I personally don't care what writers or actors believe, but I hate how he doesn't do anything new. It feels like dragged on reruns to make more books/money.
Stop doing reruns, Bob. The series started to get interesting with Transitions & Neverwinter, then you just reverted to stuff already done. Enough drow!
@@froggybug, Which do you mean? There were 4 books of Neverwinter. Gauntlgrim Neverwinter Charon's Claw The Last Threshold Actually, I 1st didn't realize it wasn't a trilogy and almost read The Companions before book 4. Is that what you mean?
Nah.. i dont think so... you guys are daft... there are never enough Drow... and the rebirth of Matron Baenre is freakin epicness... AD&D at its finest...

Came this far to promote your book so let everyone know what the book is 👍
What's the novel? I'm down to give anyone inspired by Bob a read!

For me its the rebirth of Baenre.. she is magnificent❤❤❤

Seriously!
I can't buy these books.
I won't support this farce.
I don't want reruns of drow vs Drizzt.
What a shame, cause the story was so epic.

The rebirth of Baenre is so epic that to skip any part of her is just CRAZY ... GREATEST character he ever wrote. . Sheer epicnesz...

Bob taught me to learn how to dream.
My only question is where is the legend of drizzt live action series
R.A Salvatore, a true scholar in the fantasy world. Bravo!
He's a hack who has run out of ideas.
11:39 felt the exact same way when I met you :)
Just because a person is polite doesn't make them good.
Bob is such a wonderful human being! ^^
🙄 lol, ok
thanks
So his feminist editor is responsible for one of the most annoying characters in fantasy...

What happened to that Neverwinter story? It was just….gone.
