I consider myself a very privileged person i randomly bumped into Jessica while i was at my camp in Stratton she told me about her trip and videos over a beer and after watching them i realized my first impression of her was spot on she is a very inspiring and great individual to see what she has done and to see first hand just how happy and positive she is was great hope the rest of her trip in my great state of Maine has treated her well Great job on the videos Whitney and Jessica Pat Foye
Just saw your dad's post that you made it to the top! Congrats! Can't wait to see the final installments of the video logs so we can share that moment with you! What an inspiration! Way to go! "GoDaddy"
Holy shit. OK, so I just got done watching the last part and commenting and for some reason I didn't realize this was 2015, same year I did it, and then all of a sudden I'm looking at Cash and Little Lady, the two people I hiked with the most before I got sick. I was about two weeks behind you at that point. And now I remember you from the log books. Gimli here, btw.
"Gimli", I love The Lord of the Rings references! Another good trail name is "Strider". You can't beat that eh?! Where is Cash and Little Lady, at what point are you saying you were two weeks behind Jessica? Can you show them to me? So I assume because you were two weeks behind Jessica, and you were hiking with Cash and Little Lady before that, that Cash and Little Lady in fact made up two weeks on Jessica and caught her? Correct?
1:15 the plaque caught my eye: I can’t find anything on why the completion and the dedication were 50 years to-the-day apart - unless there is a typo in it or something specific to Maine. The 1937 and 1987 just caught my eye. Carry on! (Yes, know this is after Idaho, now)!
thanks to you Dixie, a couple videos ago u said to do one thing towards ur dream. I've now found a place that rents equipment and am planning my first hike on the pct at the beginning of the trail. 4 to 7 days. I live in San Diego so it's perfect.
Dixie, How did you get behind your friends so far that you are hiking by yourself and Riga is finished?I have watched your videos, but can't piece that together. My daughter was out there with you, and she was fortunate enough to finish on Sept. 29th...just before the bad weather set in.I hope you were able to finish! From what Marcella (Marwi on the Trail) describes, the trail in Maine is rough! That next video teaser with a question mark.....hopefully that was just for dramatic effect and you are already warm and cozy back home.Dwight Wigg
Such beautiful sights! You are definitely a Dream Girl :) btw., I watched Auburn's victory over Kentucky and I have to say, they came awfully close to dropping the ball in the last quarter but your Tigers rose victorious
I think it's cool+funny that there's a white blaze on the bottom of the canoe.

Next time you should preface your comment with "spoiler alert".
What spoiler!?? Was there any doubt that she would summit?
her dad passed away long ago.
Maine really does look like the coolest part of the trail to me...

Did you end up renting hiking gear and going?
how far along are you by now with your dream?
The weather is still warm enough here on the Gulf Coast to enjoy a cold beer in the afternoon.
Scoot up that old mountain, and hurry home.
wow, by now I bet you've been in snow up there! be safe!!!
6:17 I'd love to live in that place that this.
Great video , it looks very cold there .
That's so cool how the birds come to your hand to eat. I'm gonna try that...

When I edited the videos I didn't have anymore footage so I had to put up the question mark. Sorry if it worries you!

It looks pretty dangerous for that hiker going up the rocky slope. Some of AP seems to mountain climbing.
Why are those men hiking in jeans??!!!
