Gotta say it's really nice to see hangyu to start things off. Since I made those gloves I've put at least 5 or 6 points into stamina so I can 'climb' most things by glide hopping up and landing on tiny ledges if I do need to regen. Also killamari also give some lift but not nearly as much. Probably closer to galeclaw on that.
If the resource transfer method gets patched it's easy to use things like the grinder and furnace to transfer mass amounts of resources by building all and canceling.
Fot the glider trick, you don't need to dodge to cancel the grapple.. I switch weapons, so I use the scroll wheel, than press space immediately after. I feel comfortable doing it that way. But whatever works for you
At least in my experience on Xbox if you do this, make sure your bow/gun isn't the next slot because it will fire it. I burned through about 20 arrows wounding why my crossbow was always empty when I landed.
The max work upgrade condense means you should be paying WAY more attention to nocturnal pals. Sometimes a nocturnal pal is a way better option than even a tier 4 work pal. I would argue you can way more out of a blazhowl noct or potentially a kitsun considering they don't sleep.
Very good video with lots of helpful tips! One thing I would like to point out though, is about the cooking time between the Lvl 5 and the Lvl 4 Kindling Jormuntide Ignis, The Lvl 4 in the video has the Sprained condition which drastically reduces work time!
Quick tip: u can build a palbox while exploring the map to use it like a portable fast travel...u can even destroy it from anywhere in the map, just open the map >hover over the base and press V
7:00 isn't Pizza even better than Salad? You need an electric furnace for it, but it takes pretty much the same ingredients as cake (just need tomatoes) and not only gives work speed but also reduces the rate at which your pals lose hunger. It also restores more hunger and more sanity than salad does.
I thought that too but more Nutrition and less Hunger is actually a bad Thing. Pizza keeps them full for longer than the Buff lasts. I hope they adjust the Buff duration on higher Quality Food. I think its about 10 Minutes, not sure
An extension of Tip #4 When you want to transfer raw materials to your manufacturing hub you can build the processor near your pal box. Select the finished material and craft it, then cancel to gather all the raw materials. For example, for ores, I'll craft a refiner next to my pal box and craft max iron ingots then cancel to fill my inventory with all the ores in my mining base. Same works for coal. This is useful since i place multiple boxes near mining nodes to quicken gathering. This way I wont need to go all around my base to collect ores from each box.
Sibelyx will produce high quality cloth in the ranch, no crafting required. If you want to get it early game you can get the nightwing and have a couple cold shirts and try to find some large frozen eggs in the cold area. Beware the pals around there are around level 40. But can easily get eggs to hatch higher tier pals if you're careful.
for transfer of resources you can also chain build 10 items the 11th item will negate the first and the resources will spawn in your inventory. place costly items , go to new base and just place inexpensive pal beds that will negate the build chain 10 items previous and put those mats in your bag.
For high quality cloth you can literally put a syblex in the ranch and it just straight up gives you high quality cloth. By that point in the game it should be easy to get one.
Love my jorguntide ignis and jorgantide. I got both to lvl 5 and it makes a major difference in grinding rocks for pal ingots and cooking cakes for breeding.
bro no way you spent 10 hours breeding just to cook ingots and cakes. 3 ignis lvl 1 with 3 cooking pots can already sustain 6 breeders running simultaneously. pls no one do this. the water one is a strong af fighter tho, the ignis is outshone by other fire types.
@otty4000 yes in fact i did. I prefer the lvl 5 kindling. Idk where you got 10 hours from if you have multiple breeding pens you can get it done pretty quick. I have a 5 breed pen farm i got the 119 in about 5. I wasnt mateing with them its auto breeding mate. Why waste valuable spots i could use to breed for a spare jorgan to cook when i can drop my partner to do whichever task i need at the moment.
It was time consuming to get my Ignis to level 5 AND have Artisan, Serious and Work Slave at the same time, but doing so and spending a good chunk of my pal souls to upgrade his work speed to max on top of that was so worth it when I saw that cake speed :). Pal Metal Ingots go super fast too. Working on doing the same with a regular Jormuntide so that I can consolidate my 4 watering pals into one mega one that runs circles around all of them on his own 😅
with how rng passives and stats are while breeding,, until the breeding system gets more consistent with less rng there is zero point in worrying about the "hidden IVs" even if your breeding 2 identical pals its still rng if those stats pass, its not a guarantee
Yah it can take insane time and effort to get perfect pals, even with settings in place to help you pump them out faster. I like knowing the information so that I can make more informed decisions along the way if I run into something more ideal but I'm definitely not going way out of my way to achieve "perfect" Pals.
It's not as bad as it sounds in my opinion. IVs matter only for combat pals and all of them want to have legend, musclehead and ferocious, so your initial goal is to have all of these skills on a single pal with 100% IV. Once you have that, it becomes significantly easier to make any ideal pal that you want, as well as passing the respective 20% elemental attack passive. The hardest part is at the start, since you won't have much to work with, but the resulting pal is going to be the catalyst for all of your future perfect combat pals.
If you never took off the extra armor over the glider slot before it was patched you can equip a Galeclaw with a bunch of speed bonuses then unequip the Galeclaw. You keep the speed/glide bonuses but are T Pose gliding all over the place. By un equip I mean put back in the palbox.
why is noone talking about selling nails to the merchants? It's really easy and fast if you have an iron farm and a jourmountide Ignis, it solves problems with wool, ammos, and materials in general without grinding palls
While malpaca and crevice might do better than the sheeps, you could skip the wool part of it all together and get the ice pal that drops high quality cloth syblex
with the shirts, the moment you get a flying mount head to the forest and ruins up in the north you can get the rare quality shirts out of chests (better then all the armors at temp mitigation) and you can use no clip in the instances to speed the process up... 1 cold resistance 2+ and heat resistance armor and you can go anywhere
Currently making the most of pals not needing care while in the breeding pen. Have a base set up with a bunch of breeding pens that I just got to and drop off the pals I want to breed. Very handing when trying to get the 4 star pals and I can get back to about 20 eggs of something I want to condense and not worry about feeding them or anything. The other base I have purely for farming and ranch work which means my 4 star Lylens are smashing out salads and cake ingredients etc.
14:33 For PC players I recommend to get yourself Pal IVs and Pal Analyzer mods to see those in the palbox and even on the pals in the wild. The only difference is that they show bonus in range of 0 to 100% where 100% means maximum bonus for specific stat. 17:45 The important notice: This is only important for combat pals and probably for your miners since their attack is likely taken into account. If you breeding pals to work at your base all you need to care about are theirs passives since Work Speed have fixed initial value of 70 and affected only by passives. Group passives work too, so when you using Elizabee at your base it's beneficial to have a Beegarde as well. You need one anyway.
Pro tip killamari does provide a Lil lift. Gale claw feels like it has a set speed it likes to be at. Over longer distances feels like hang does better
In that desert you also have Necromus and Paladius are good for Pal metal farming aswell, specially if you have it set where you have 3x the amount of spawns, if you can survive fighting 6 of them that is since it'll be 3 each, and they're always together. Just means it'll weigh a crap ton so you'd be slow if you can't carry it.
I've been playing on setting to enhance my chances for the Legendary schematics, so my loot and other setting are at max. Get 3 Paladius and 3 Necromus, using Legendary Rocket Launcher to 2-4 shot depending how far they are from each other, have a Grizzbolt tank hits so I can reload. I've been getting 150-180 from them, playing on Xbox, no one to play with so I also have things set to make it easier in general so just might be how I have settings.
Hmm. So that all element attack lunaris learns might be pretty good for a last attack before trying to catch. I think it's fire/ice/lightning. If it puts all those statuses on at once that would be pretty nice.
@ 404 - There’s an early game shock mon with a tag-along necklace like daydream (or however it’s spelled). I imagine you’d get the same 3 elements more consistently with a fire pal, a poison bow, and that necklace.
While watching this I was thinking that exact thing. I've been farming Lunaris boss for some ideal passives then was going to slap a bunch of different element attacks on it. Originally just so it was ideal against whatever I was fighting, but watching this video made me think Lunaris can probably put 3 different status on whatever you're fighting. Put quick refresh status attacks on it.
@@bobjob2514 The only downside to those necklace Pals is if you get your target too low HP and haven't caught it yet, those pals will often finish it off. Only took a few times of this happening for me to stop using Daedream. Unless there's a way to get them to stop attacking and I'm just unaware.
@@sixten7920 right. I don’t know if they respond to the pal command wheel’s don’t attack option. But the point of it would be to get all those elemental effects early - getting your catch rate up before the health goes down.
Problem with the necklace pals is they will also be attacking with you throughout the fight so by the time you are ready to catch thing it will have built up resistance to those elements.
If your having loading issues with duneshelter you can exot to the menu in the plaza and re enter and it should fix it... until you go towards the gate and the ground despawns.
Something I discovered is that some flying mounts can't hover over water. I spent ages breeding and condensing Quiverns only to find out its useless for crossing water.
It's better to farm chest at the sanctuaries to find a +2 thermal shirt which provides full cold resistance and just wear heat resistant armor since you don't need the full resistance for heat anywhere.
instead of farming wool for crafting high quality cloth how about using the pals from the frostzone (sylphare or so?) to directly produce high qualtiy cloth in your ranch
You can’t repeat the process of building and cancelling unless you build multiple at once and then cancel at once, if you do one and then cancel and do another and then cancel it will use your inventory items first. I.e if you want to build ten beds at your new base, then you need to place and cancel ten beds at your original base. What I do when moving a base is place a box down in my main base, and things I only want one of I place and cancel and then transfer into that box. Then things I want multiple of, I place the amount of them I want and then cancel and destroy them all.
I found out that water falls that you can ride, such as broncherry aqua and elphidran aqua, can swim and don't use up stamina. And can even sprint in the water and recover the stamina
For high quality cloth, the Sibelyx is perfect. I got one through a random egg I found, happened to have artisan, and I'm sitting on 1700 of it now and just started using high quality cloth lol.
workspeed doesnt matter at all for pals working inside ranch grazing sadly. bred few mega chicken and cow to find out this. hope future patch make ranching affected by workspeed as well

Seems kind of unlikely but eh, who knows, early access issue lol.
There is actually a pal that can produce high quality cloth. I think it starts with a S, looks like a water or ice type. Incredible to have just 1 going

I made it all the way to end game, lvl 50 with the statue capture rate bug. It takes at least 30 ultraballs to catch a lvl 5. My entire lvling progress came from breeding. I cant wait to start over and never use that damn statue. ProTip, it takes about 100hrs to get to endgame through breeding.
I dont know how you make the grapple hook work like that. Are you playing single player? Cuz on every hosted server its a lag fest even when its a 10 slot server with 2 people online. When u use grapple hook it is just a stutter lag teleport with like 5fps
capture rate is bugged even after the update. listed capture bonuses aren't applied. you can have it down to 1 point of health stunned and using a legendary sphere on a level 1 target which will say 100% and with the bugs in the game it will bust out 100 times.
i think that between galeclaw or hangyu, its based on player playstyle and/or situation, galeclaw is better in normal fight since it give better start up speed for dodging and also you can shot while gliding(which is badass as fuk), hangyu is better for exploration with its lift up and the grappling hook speed up
Ctfu can even find an squad to run with always been my luck with games been running solo and having just as much fun ain’t get to end game yet but I’m not rushing clear 2 boss towers . Looking forward to what I find next ..
I would love to do the dungeons, but since the latest patch, my weak Xbox series s can’t handle the dungeons and crashes the game 😢. Is anyone else experiencing this? Also the desert fast travel point nearest to paldius and necromus doesn’t work. It always spawns me at my nearest base. 😩
Not just series s. My gf n I use series x. Dungeons just aren't stable. We think it's more stable if both players enter the dungeon, but it still crashes a lot. Of course this is just our experience so I dunno if it's true.
I didnt realise pals had IVs so thats good to know. thankfully the only thing i am breeeding is trying to get super good is a good worker anubis. i am not high enough to get a legend atm so going for lucky artisan serious and work slave and thankfulyl work speed doesnt have IVs
The fact that a lower level Pal has such a low capture rate with a Legendary sphere is a big problem. I’ve had more success capturing the legendary Pals (Jetragon, Frostallion) with just (3) legendary spheres each. I spent 7 legendary balls and 2 ultra trying to catch a level 41 Gobfin Ignis and I got so pissed that I just ended up killing it. Such a waste of expensive resources. Devs really need to prioritize this bug that nerfs your capture rate after investing effigies at the statue 😔

You can move large amounts of items short distances using the grapple hook. I moved my entire base across a chasm in 3 trips this way.
Thanks, helps a lot
Does galeclaw glider uses up your main character stamina? or its own stamina similiar to Jetragon having on stamina when they sprint or fly + sprint
When will the second part off the best start video Come out?
Good video
Regarding calculating you pal's IV with Palpedia, do you put in sync level or actual level of pal?
And great content as always!
instead of farming wool for crafting high quality cloth how about using the pals from the frostzone (sylphare or so?) to directly produce high qualtiy cloth in your ranch
When you compared the 2 Jormuntide Ignis, isn't the sprain on the level 4 one gonna affect its cake-making?
You can’t repeat the process of building and cancelling unless you build multiple at once and then cancel at once, if you do one and then cancel and do another and then cancel it will use your inventory items first. I.e if you want to build ten beds at your new base, then you need to place and cancel ten beds at your original base. What I do when moving a base is place a box down in my main base, and things I only want one of I place and cancel and then transfer into that box. Then things I want multiple of, I place the amount of them I want and then cancel and destroy them all.
do you have vid about where to use stat points? i have been investing in HP and stamina but i think it is not efficient
I found out that water falls that you can ride, such as broncherry aqua and elphidran aqua, can swim and don't use up stamina. And can even sprint in the water and recover the stamina
You can also breed "Sibelyx" and they will directly Give you High Quality Cloth just by grazing. (And they are pretty easy to breed)
I spent ~3 days breeding down Foxparks with all the passives I want. How should I integrate better IV’s into the lineage?
You can put sibelyx in the ranch to just give you high quality cloth outright which is technically 10x as efficient
For high quality cloth, the Sibelyx is perfect. I got one through a random egg I found, happened to have artisan, and I'm sitting on 1700 of it now and just started using high quality cloth lol.
Artisan and other such skills don't influence farm drop frequency, only ability level does.
workspeed doesnt matter at all for pals working inside ranch grazing sadly. bred few mega chicken and cow to find out this. hope future patch make ranching affected by workspeed as well
@@jfree2739 I dunno, that might be true, but it feels like I'm getting a lot more high quality cloth than other items from the ranch, and the Sibelyx is the only one with Artisan. I guess I could be wrong, it's not like I'm counting everything that comes in, and maybe high quality cloth just drops more often than eggs and milk. Seems kind of unlikely but eh, who knows, early access issue lol.
is there replay value once u get everything?
Is salad better than Dumud stew? It also give nutrition, sanity and work speed but I assume it gives work speed longer because it's higher quality?
There is actually a pal that can produce high quality cloth. I think it starts with a S, looks like a water or ice type. Incredible to have just 1 going
Late game, Sibelyx is the best to use for high quality cloth.
Even mid game
You can transport heavy materials around by just grappling. You grapple at the same speed no matter how much weight you're carrying.
I hope you make a ton of ad rev
Galeclaw gliding canceling is insane and doesnt look like its doing much until you test it. Shit is goated
4:24 the heavy weight transfer is genius
I hear that Matt moving trick is how they built the pyramids
There's a pal that drops high quality cloth, Siblex I think is how you spell it. I just left it there while I did other things and got 500 in a couple in game days
Dont waste your time having fun with the game, just speedrun it.
Great advice.
can pals inherit the max work stats stats when breeding?
I made it all the way to end game, lvl 50 with the statue capture rate bug. It takes at least 30 ultraballs to catch a lvl 5. My entire lvling progress came from breeding. I cant wait to start over and never use that damn statue. ProTip, it takes about 100hrs to get to endgame through breeding.
I dont know how you make the grapple hook work like that. Are you playing single player? Cuz on every hosted server its a lag fest even when its a 10 slot server with 2 people online. When u use grapple hook it is just a stutter lag teleport with like 5fps
12:11 this isnt the best comparison cause the rank 4 one has a sprain which lowers work speed further
capture rate is bugged even after the update. listed capture bonuses aren't applied. you can have it down to 1 point of health stunned and using a legendary sphere on a level 1 target which will say 100% and with the bugs in the game it will bust out 100 times.
Why use Melpaca or cremis if you need High Quality Cloth ?
Sybelix (might be spelled wrong), drop high quality cloth directly in a farm ;)
i think that between galeclaw or hangyu, its based on player playstyle and/or situation, galeclaw is better in normal fight since it give better start up speed for dodging and also you can shot while gliding(which is badass as fuk), hangyu is better for exploration with its lift up and the grappling hook speed up
@3:57 Is that how you pronounce “giga-sphere?”
Ctfu can even find an squad to run with always been my luck with games been running solo and having just as much fun ain’t get to end game yet but I’m not rushing clear 2 boss towers . Looking forward to what I find next ..
Repeating the process for ecrapping items dors not stack the materials as the second one uses the materials from the first one in your inventory.
I'm confused about why you said the two shirts thing is since 1.4. I've been doing this since day 2 of game launch. Way before 1.4
Love the game but I wish the IV range wasn't so astronomical. 50% Diff in HP is obscene. It should vary the stat by like 10-20% max.
I just wish we could give them nicknames / or a way to bookmark the Pals in order to find them more easily
How do you go down with no damage?
Of all the things they copied from Pokémon, why did it have to be hidden IV stats x.x
Fire pal plus poison bow plus dazzle necklace = easy catch rate life hack?
I would love to do the dungeons, but since the latest patch, my weak Xbox series s can’t handle the dungeons and crashes the game 😢. Is anyone else experiencing this? Also the desert fast travel point nearest to paldius and necromus doesn’t work. It always spawns me at my nearest base. 😩
Yeah I’ve noticed Its like a 50/50 if I crash in a dungeon or not.
My friend and I are both 50/50 on getting in and he's 50/50 on getting out.
Not just series s. My gf n I use series x. Dungeons just aren't stable. We think it's more stable if both players enter the dungeon, but it still crashes a lot. Of course this is just our experience so I dunno if it's true.
I m on series s, never get a crash in dungeons.. after last patch i tried hundreds times but there no wat i can finisch a dungeon.. so sad
11:00 SIBELYX DROPS HIGH QUALITY CLOTH IN RANCH. no need for alpaca
I didnt realise pals had IVs so thats good to know. thankfully the only thing i am breeeding is trying to get super good is a good worker anubis. i am not high enough to get a legend atm so going for lucky artisan serious and work slave and thankfulyl work speed doesnt have IVs
You should use sybelix for high quality cloth.
Been doing this glide for a while but I rather stick to my jetragon with the quad speed
Hoping for indepth guide with breeding starting from scratch
The comparison of jormuntide ignis wasn't fair since the lvl 4 kindling also had a sprain.
Does injury’s affect it that much?
@@yoursilly2106 by like 10-20 percent
3:57 did he just say "Giga sphere"?
I had to look back for a sec to see what he was talking about when he said “jiga” lol
The glider cannot be applied to coop if you are not the host because of the lag 😅
Ughh iv's this is Pokemon go all over again i hated having to use external websites and apps for this. I suppose it is necessary for a pvp battle game tho. Welp to the grind it is. 😊
I hope they don’t fix the weight issue it makes farming so much easier 😂 dropping stacks of high amounts of ore by boxes to then teleport
8:20
This isnt true you will still freeze in the high level place st high without a cold 3 shirt
1:10 had my brain.exe crash
I swear if i see an other video talk about gliding i will hurt my self...
Syblix straight up drops high quality cloth when ranched. No need for crafting
Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
