From the reviews I've heard this laptop runs hot and is very loud. I know we shouldn't care about how "loud" a gaming laptop gets, but it does annoy me to read that. What are your thoughts on that? 50C is very cold for a GPU, I wonder how the fans sound? 95-98C is throttling it for the CPU probably so I'm assuming fans are running hard.

Yes fans do get a bit loud however at least for me it's not too bad. It's not like a annoying sound like a high pitch sound if that makes sense lol. Once I'm playing and get into the game I forget about them lol. I've tried some other laptops that were much worse. To each their own but for me they're tolerable.

I bought this laptop... 3 of them actually.. and they all overheat and shut down the minute I load up any CPU intensive game. Sad because I loved everything about it. Returned it and got the Strix 18 instead.

Thanks for watching ! and I'm sorry to hear that. Luckily for me I haven't had any problems with overheating and shutting down. I wonder what the problem could've been.

What was the longest gaming session you had? I think if you play heavily it's a safe bet to go with the 7pro @@RetroEliteGaming

Just 70w on the GPU? ASUS laptops go like 86c on their GPUs but their wattage is absolutely high. (100w on balanced mode on my 4060 TUF)
