Also am I the only person who's kinda,, disturbed by the final boss?? Not just because of the gore but bc I think that outright intentionally killing Robotnik (especially in such a violent way) and then just going about like nothing happened would be extremely out of character for Sonic
I thought the same thing it was really disturbing to me. But this is still a fantastic game overall.

Yeah it would've been better if Galatcnik exploded like all the other machines, then fell down to earth as Eggman, maybe the tornado would catch him and dump him in a random location?
Well in the end it says they conitnue battling Eggman meaning he did not died so

That death was probably one of the dumbest things I’ve seen.
I don't exactly know how I feel about that final boss...kinda creeps me out a little.
@@Azu_Crystal I think the main issue is that it feels out of place even for a Sonic fan game. A Galactus-looking Eggman as a final boss that in the end dies a gruesome death. It doesn’t match the tone of Sonic at all
I laughed when Knuckles busted out the hat.
It was so cringy. I know it's supposed to be fanservice but it really comes out as arrogant and very out of character. I couldn't stop laughing.

Man Knuckles needs a serious update on his animations. Mainly his run because that shit is horrid. His glide looks a little awkward though. Game looks pretty good though. Gonna check it out.

This game is amazing.
That said i think the cutscenes in this game are absolutely awful, i feel they were completely unnecesary and kinda ugly looking.
And the ending straigh up killing Eggman in a very gory way is 100% out of character and unnecesary.
Like DAMN, Sonic straigh up blowed his face and then went through his body and made him explore in multiple bloody pieces, this is really something that you wouldn't see in a game like this, and kinda ruins it...

Yeah, and this fan game has been in development for over a decade. That badnik that follows you (it stays "glued" on the screen) and shoots, they never fixed this behavior, and thi is from the earliest builds of this fangame! Its a annoying badnik.
Looking at the final version i can tell that the SAGE 2014 Act 2 Demo was well better, specially the cutscenes, they all were really good on that build, they looked like 32X game, now they look and sound like cheap anime. The finals version is missing some sprite animations, some animations, music and SFX were better on the 2014 demo.
This looks pretty sweet, it's got a really good style and feel to it.

SUCH AWESOME MUSIC FUTURE AND PAST IN THIS SONIC FAN GAMEPLAY.
A few questions...
1) WTF is going on here?!
2) Why was Adventure's of Sonic The Hedgehog Robotnik fused with Galactus the last boss?
3) What happens if you get JUST the Chaos Emeralds or JUST the Time Stones?
4) Does it go into space if Tails and Knuckles beat the game with the rocks?
I presume you did some cutting to make it alternate between Sonic/Tails/Knuckles because they each got the 1st stone.
it's an alternative universe which takes place during CD.
Zion you are wrong, it didn’t take place during cd at all- in fact this is AFTER. this is an au where robotnik died in sonic 3 and knuckles, and metal sonic is trying to revive him. Sonic cd already happened at this point in the timeline
some of these bosses were scary.
You don't have to work up speed to time travel I wish that were true for sonic cd as well time traveling in sonic cd was such a chore
It was going pretty well right up until the end. Like, Robotnik comes back to life, turns into Galactus for no reason, and then you kill him. Again. Violently. It’s like they just threw that in at the end ‘cause they’d already been working on the game for so long and no longer gave a shit. I honestly would’ve preferred Super Robotnik from After the Sequel DX over that.
Possibly the funniest ending in any game ever, completely contrasts how good the rest of the game looks visually

Its a good game, but the problem im having with saying I want this to be a 17+ Mature game is because, when Super Sonic in the final boss Sonic has the... "Gory..." kind of a vibe...

SUCH RATIO (16:9), SUCH COLORFULNESS, SUCH NORMAL SMOOTH 60FPS QUALITY.
From what I have played thus far the game for a fan game is impressive. Of course there are a few issues whilst the physics are pretty accurate Sonic doesn't get enough height when bouncing off Monitors and Badniks even whilst holding the Jump button as this occurs but given how taxing it has to be to replicate the physics 1-1 that can be forgiven.
A few levels such as Frigid Fortress also needs some work, I was in that level and almost timed out. Strictly because of the gimmicks implemented the level has no cohesive level design to speak off, its quite literally a maze and I found myself going in circles. I admire what they were going for but the execution in that zone was subpar, Sonic levels need to flow naturally and have a cohesive structure, yes exploration is always good but it shouldn't be the entire focus if you getting lost because the level has no cohesive structure or direction to go in due to a stage gimmick being plastered all over the place that is an error in the execution.
Aside from that one instance, the level design has been rather solid. I enjoy facing off against Metal Sonic from time to time and the bosses do well in having an interesting yet diverse pattern of attacks. They really do feel like bosses from the classic era, the special stages are a great idea as well. I've always been shocked aside from Rush Adventure we have never really seen special stages that involve a race, Mania was the closest to this idea but you weren't racing the opponent merely catching up with the emerald. They do lack a bit of polish but for the most part they get the job done and they are enjoyable to go through, bonus points for giving you an option to retry for the cost of a life. This fixes the problem with special stages kicking you out whilst providing a cost for you fucking up so it keeps it fair whilst actually providing you a basic feature.
Wow, this was awesome, although Eggman looks like Galactus in this game.

I love this game, it's a sonic cd sequel with graphics from the mega 32x while also adapting the brotherhood of metallix storyline from sonic the comic, doesn't that sound kinda cool ? Also idk how the good ending of the game could be considered canon, but i'll fiind some way to explain it.

What I like certain level design such as Viridian Valley Zone and Raging Ruins Zone but all the levels design can be refined, the new shield are well thought but can be enhanced visually, some background design are weird as well as some boss level, here and there I saw some bug. I don't like the explosion effect. The ending boss a big nope, The Special stage is a good idea and having both time stone and chaos emerald to collect are great maybe each set of jewel need a transformation by Sonic/Tails/Knuckles and each transformation can be combined into one greater if all is collected.
Also Knuckles sprites is not good IMO mainly when he is in gliding mode.

This game looks pretty damn fun. The tornado powerup is the sickest fuckin power up ever. I like the little fire trail from the shield power up too. Fuckin nice. If only I had a computer to play this on lol

i remember playing this and really not liking it. the sprite art was good, decent at worst (not the cutscenes and the ending, that was god-awful). the music had no idea what it wanted to be, with no unique distinguishable melody at all. the level design was really shoddy, and everything was very uninspired. as mentioned before, the cutscenes are crude, and the ending is cringey, and disgustingly out of place.
the reason i hate it is not because it's 90% angsty trash, bur because it was filled with potential that all just went down the toilet.
i also remember seeing so many people praising this, with barely anyone pointing out how bad it was. perhaps this was a time when sonic fans were still used to terrible content.
well, there is one thing i cant fault at all, and that is the fact that they went out of their way and made something that was theirs.
most people can say they wanna make a game, but few go through with it, and even fewer, come out with something decent!
TL:DR - Its terrible, but it's the thought that counts i guess.

What’s so strange about this comment section, is that the same type of people that love these other fangames, which in all honesty, suck compared to this, seem to have more reason to say bad things about this. Odd. There’s quite a bit of fan games where Sonics speed is kinda slow, which bugs me, but I see know one complaining about it, or I also see fan games with less polish and hardly anything in the stages, have the same thing happen, why?
I can't seem to play Sonic Time Twisted, every time I open up the game it just closes by itself.
This game seems pretty decent, but it seems really unpolished. The lasers during the first Metal Sonic fight looked like solid red lines. The cutscenes look choppy and poorly animated, and the special stages look fairly meh, being a solidly colored floor.
I have played the game, it is fun, but there are some glaring oversights.

Anyone else think 4:54 looks really cheap? Like they put the entire landscape at an angle instead of just making a slope? What, we're supposed to believe this level starts at a massive hill where the clouds and lake are just magically at an angle? And the lasers Metal Sonic shoots out don't even have like a highlight or anything, they're just solid red.
