      Thank you for your service. The Phantom II was my favorite plane as a kid, my Dad was at Dobbins AFB and F4’s came over all the time low fast and loud! Talk about exciting! You could feels the thunder in your chest when they came. You could still break sound back then and my Mom was constantly screaming about sonic booms cracking windows and breaking stuff…

    The B-1B was not the first USAF supersonic bomber. The B-58 Hustler was!

      Neither is the B-2 the first US. military stealth Bomber. The F-117 filled that roll, with the 'F' intentionally selected to disguise the aircrafts's true (bomber) purpose.

    Our military industrial complex was really killing it in the 1980s.. From the stealth fighter F-117 to B-2 bomber, from B-1 to Blackhawk, from the Abrams, Bradley, F-15E, and HUMWEE to the Patriot SAM system. From the Ohio class ballistic submarines to the LA class attack subs. From the refurbishing of the Iowa class battleships to the Apache attack helicopter. From the starting of the Raptor development to the start of the Seawolf class submarines... It was all done during the 1980s... And don't forget that the US military had the following numbers when we went into the 1991 Operation Desert Storm.. We had over 500 ship Navy and over 200 operational fighter jet squadrons, vs today's sub 300 ship Navy and 90 fighter jet squadrons..
    Don't get me wrong, the Arleigh Burke destroyer of today is more potent, capable and deadly than 2 of the destroyers of the 1980.. But we had numbers, we had power.. And all this was possible for couple of reasons. First our defense budget was over 5% of GDP vs the 3,5% today.. SO there was a lot more money for the military.. Next we had much more defense companies than today which meant competition and better products..
    Although I'm sure that our military is and will remain the predominant fighting force in the forseeable future, despite the Chinese rise, and if we manage to keep our allies (who knows with the Orange Buffoon at the helm) we will win any war in the Pacific or in Europe. But the casualties would be massive, huge..
    We have to raise the defense spending back to 5% of GDP, although that is also hardly possible given that the new neo libertarian US oligarchs want to cut taxes, meaning less money for the government.. So less money for the military ends up more young American, German, Japanese, Australian, French, Korean, British and other young lives lost in a major war in the next 3-7 years..

      That orange buffoon is the man who actually brought attention to the threat from Beijing in the first place when all your lefty buddies were completely oblivious. He also hasn’t started any wars in his 1st term. So give him credit and don’t let your TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) get the better of you and your judgement 👍🏼

    If you are confused why the number jumps from 2 to 21 it's because it's actually 2 in 1 it is meant to replace both the B1 Lancer and the B2 spirit.

      The B-21 bomber is named "B-21" because it is intended to be the first bomber of the 21st century, signifying its advanced design and capabilities as the next generation of American strategic aircraft; the "B" stands for "Bomber" and "21" represents the 21st century

  • @paulgray7104
    @paulgray7104 5 дней назад

    Your videos suck. You make a video about the B 21 but then really only talk about all these other bombers and not all of your information is correct. Do better.
