Ok. THAT was pretty slick. Would be interested in your voiceattack profile
"Pilot in cockpit", a thumb up 🙂
Wow, VAICOM got on the F-4 quickly! Can't wait to take it for a spin in the Crystal.
Oh so that's what he is using for the voice commands I wasnt sure
Did you make this Voice Attack profile yourself?
Incredible. I guess I didn't need to join the Air Force after all.
Man this headset is huge
Most reviews so far mention that comfort is OK though
Why are you moving in slow motion?
some flaws in the start up, nothing serious. The only thing I´d recommend is to hold down the ignitions switch a bit longer until the RPM increase rapidly. Once RPM have settled, you can stop Airflow
Why does the picture quality on my computer is always better than its in the vr (I have a quest 2 vs a 1080p monitor)
Because Q2's panels have less pixels per degree as your 1080p monitor does. You'd need something like Pimax Crystal or Varjo Aero at 1.5SS to look as good as your 1080p monitor.
@@rudlzavedno7279 a Quest 3 works very good as well and is only a third of the price and the hardware demand than the Pimax Christal
Please make more aerofly fs4 videos
PCVR has gone totally off rails. Just look at the size of this headset. We went from quite large Rifts, Vives, Odys from 2016 to even larger and heaver Varjo Aero and now enourmous Pimax in 2024. Big screen Beyond has shown us that small sizes are possible. What the hell went wrong?
Bigger fov
Big screen beyond also has a pretty narrow fov and much lower display resolution. For the time being there's no way to increase fov or resolution considerably without increasing the actual size of the headset. For games where you are moving and jumping around, a light and small form factor would probably be preferable. However for seated sim experiences, resolution and fov are going to add a lot more to the experience.
Pimax are the current leaders in fov for headsets and the HMD size is the necessary consequence of that.
A big screen beyond wouldn't have half the visibility and clarity as the Pimax for games like DCS where you need to read these tiny dials and number read-outs.
I cancelled a Beyond and got the Crystal. I would have loved the small form factor but appreciate the foveated rendering/eye tracking and lack of glare. Crystal is great for seated flight simming; one day we’ll get everything in the Pimax in a Beyond form factor. For now, both devices are fantastic, and flawed at the same time.
@@emotioneering well said, totally agree
Too bad the FOV on the crystal is crap
I ran your comment through Google Translate and it came back: "Too bad I can't afford a Crystal."
compared to what?
