The window is the smallest interface that separates us from the outside. So small and yet so large in our imaginations, this fragment of architecture tells us multiple stories.
This short film documents the stories of four windows. The people who live in them, Michelle, Akua, Arnaud and Kevin, tell us about the borders of their homes.
Against the light, their four domestic landscapes are outlined: a family home is known forever, a home far from home, an apartment where one has just placed his suitcases, and a house for which one has left everything.
Speaking of the infinitely intimate as well as the relationship to our great territories, the film is composed of a series of interviews conducted in 2023.
The link between these disparate stories gradually weaves the tale of a world in motion.
This work seeks, through the banal story, to speak to us about what kind of tomorrow we should imagine today.
