I am exactly where you are. On the 31st of March 2020 I was saved having never known anything about Christ. For two years I was a fanatical and the bible opened up to me. Now I am lost but I will always know the truth. I too have been praying but I don’t feel worthy of being a true Christian even though I know the TRUTH God bless you all
I came across these verses at a difficult point in life which put me into a panic attack and made me doubt. During this, I said I wasn't sure if I could be saved to my Grandma and later lost hope. I don't want to be too far gone, but I haven't felt conviction since then and it's harder to pray.
I have backslidden for the past 2 years. I am desperate to get back in alignment with Christ, yet i have lost all desire and passion for prayer and wotship. I want to love God byt i dont feel it anymore:/
Just ask him to forgive and restore you. Start reading the scriptures again. Love is an act of will, not feelings. Psalm 103:10-14 'He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust. '
I did abandon and deny Jesus after being saved and faithful for a number of years. Got into drugs very heavily, became sober in AA. Tried, yoga, even paganism. Now i am being called back to Christ by circumstance and family, and it is very difficult, though i am trying. This verse freaks me out. For years i was ok with no Jesus

There are other verses in the Bible, as well as what wise people have told me, that show that if I am repentant, then this obviously doesn't apply to me. I have repented, so I must have faith that all things are possible with God. How are things for you?

I wanted to bear fruit for him. I thought Jesus would chop down me if I didn't bear fruit and put me in hell. I also didn't want to die early. I wanted to live longer. I volunteered at a local charity. I don't know if I have fallen from Grace or not. My anxiety is through the roof. Once saved always saved but what happens when a saved person does that.
If you're repentant God can and will forgive you. Remember the instruction to forgive generously, how much more so does God! This passage is about people who reject Jesus' gift and remain unrepentant, since no other means of salvation is available. Compare this to the person mentioned in 1 Corinthians 1 who committed a sin of adultery and was temporarily excommunicated until he repented. 2 Corinthians 2; 5-11 the church community are instructed to forgive and receive him back into fellowship.
Can you elaborate with scripture who are those that are lukewarm spit from Gods mouth? Or the blind Houseman in Matt 24? Or how about those foolish virgins who also beleived in the Groom whos lamp was not full ?
This passage is really about a saved person, and go back into sins they had prior to salvation, that person is unable to repent again for the forgiveness of those sins, because you'd be crucifying Christ all over again. It doesn't mean someone rejected Christ, or thinking there must be sacrifices of bulls or goats. Again it's a saved person who went back to a life of sin. Even if they repent, their repentance will not be forgiven by God by the blood of Jesus
These type of teachings on Hebrews 6:6 may be good intentioned but ironically will still leave you confused and unsure especially since many of us fall. This makes not going to hell after salvation all about us. It’s an Arminian school of thought. It makes us keep looking to ourself and what we see is hopelessness. We are forced fed man made teaching that we get a gift that we can’t keep unless (fill in the blank). It’s understandable why we take these doubtful passages to mean we should live in fear of falling but the verses don’t contradict itself. We have eternal life once we believe, beloved. Eternal means eternal. We must learn to not take verses out of context. There are many that remove the antidote of God’s grace and put it on you to keep yourself in Christ to be truly saved. He doesn’t need your faithfulness or obedience to be saved. There is a price to pay but you don’t forfeit your family in Christ. One of the easiest Bible verses to remember is Mark 10:27! This cannot be thrown out in favor of the doom and gloom verses.

Hebrews was written to the Jews. There were people urging others to return to sacrificing at the temple, rather than trusting in the salvation provided by Jesus. Rejecting the gift of Grace is a much more serious offense than rejecting the Mosaic Law.

Most sin is willful. There's a distinction between struggling with sin as part of the refining process, and not seeing sin as a problem that needs correcting...the latter demonstrating that the person doesn't know or care why Jesus died for their sins. (Not a repentant person who has fallen and genuinely wants forgiveness and help to overcome sin)

Don't stay away it makes it worse you do not live life better it is worse you just lie to yourself when you do that I tried and tried to live life to its fullest and it was depressing and I fell into nialism fast you can't find or make meaning its a lie, I felt my only option was to end this life but Jesus saved me from that

Just try to pray to him even if you don't want to, don't stop crying out to him. He will hear you!
Cry out to God your weakness, I have done that recently and God has allowed me to repent.

I fell from grace trying to stop a sin in my flesh to be justified. I feel He left me and will never return😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

What if I strayed away from God after I had seen all of his glory and tasted the gifts of God and now I want to repent 😭

those forgiven are not luke warm.. sin really depresses and theres nothing but Him

I think you got it wrong, real beliver can't leave christ becouse he is one spirit with him.
