    In this video, our pool professional walks you through a side-by-side comparison between the new models ‪@Pentairpool‬ Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF 3.0HP (011075) vs the "All-New" Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF 3.0HP with I/O Board (011076). Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF is the first pump to combine true set it and forget it flow technology paired with the smart connectivity of Pentair's app. This pump sets a new bar for performance with built-in sensorless flow control for effortless optimum flow and aids in keeping the pool crystal clear and inviting, no matter what it requires. The pump drive is designed to produce maximum motor operational efficiency. The drive controls the motor’s rotational speed by controlling the frequency of the supplied current. It also protects the motor and pumps from operating outside of their intended operating parameters. All IntelliFlo3 VSF and IntelliPro3 VSF pumps are compatible with Pentair automation systems. Refer to the automation system manual for further details on connecting your pump to a specific automation system. Use 18 to 24 AWG, two-conductor cable to connect a Pentair automation system to the pump. Please check out the website below for more information and parts for your pool equipment! So this pump could control a light if that's the only automation needed, no need for an intellicenter. I have a heat pump but that's controlled by flow so it would be a solution if I understand correctly by just using the IO board.

    what about heater operation/control with the 011076? can this be done?

      Hello, Pentair doesn't recommend it at this time but they are working on being able to add that feature in the future. Stay tuned!

      The pump can be used to turn the heater on and off. No tem adjustment on the app. The temp gets pre set on the heater.

    So my question is why are people wanting to control their pool pump using the phone? The last thing a technician wants is a homeowner messing with the settings or control panels. Why can't we just have a simple 3hp VS pool pump like the VST. There are to many pool service companies out there that do not understand how to install these units, and are installing other brands cos they are easy. There are a lot of older home owners that do not want to spend the money for expensive upgrades , but need the extra Horsepower. I do pool inspections and I'm seeing a lot of aftermarket crap out there.

    Hi! We can add valves actuators in the 011076 ? Or just blower or pool lights?

    • @ePoolSupply

      Actuators cannot be added or operated by the 011076.

    Is the i/o board compatible with the intellicenter? I have both so is the i/o board essentially giving me two additional relays in my automation system?

    • @ePoolSupply
      @ePoolSupply  Год назад

      If you already have the automation panel then the i/o board really isn't necessary.

    Thanks for the information! Im installing a new basic pool. 14k gallon, salt, gas heated, cart filter and two lights, no water feature. I want automation so can i save the $ on intellicenter and just get this pump with i/o board to control everything or do i still need intellicenter?

    • @ePoolSupply

      We would suggest the Intellicenter. Best automation system made by Pentair. Hope this helps!

    Great video! Just bought a house with an all Jandy with iaqualink system (4years old Jandy 2.7 HP vs plus) and I need a new pump! I've been told to "stick with Jandy because my entire system is Jandy". Does Jandy have a comparable to the Pentair 011076 IO board? My pool guys suggested Pentair but the original pool contractor is telling me Jandy. Another note- seems the iaqualink & intelliconnect systems will be antiquated due to the boards being built right onto the back pump. Do you recommend installing this IO Pentair with all my other stuff being Jandy or should I stick to Jandy? Thanks in advance, I am a subscriber!

      Hello, as far as the pump goes we only deal with Pentair equipment so I couldn't say whether or not they make a pump that is comparable to the 011076 but I'm sure they might at some point. The 011076 was designed for pools that do not have an automation system and are looking to add a small basic form of it. You already have an automation system from the sounds of it so it would defeat the purpose of buying the 011076. Hope this helps!

      I know this is a few weeks old but for reference for any others who run into this issue. They do make an interface for the jandy board to the pentair pump. It's fairly straightforward, though I'd you dont have a good grasp on low voltage and high voltage systems I reccomend calling your pool professional.
