Such a nice, humble and transparent guy. There’s an owner out there that instead of attempting to hype himself and own brand up by talking about others, should take notes. Love Daryl’s paddles and hope he has continued success.
I ordered my Vatic Pro Prism Flash 16mm last night. Glad to see that I made a good decision and got a good deal. I recommended it to my friends who are also just starting to play the game.
I’m a beginner and bought the Prism Flash based on reviews. I’ve noticed the paddle performs much more uniformly on off-center hits than a friend’s paddle I had borrowed. Played the other day, and at one point three out of four of us on the challenge court had the VP Prism Flash.
I love your podcast and this guy is genuine it seems. Just started playing and got a vatic prism flash. Slightly lacking in power but I think that's good as I'm mainly focused on my finesse game right now. But I can tell a huge difference in my shots going where I want them to go. Props to this guy and you're show. You're a fine host as well.
Really like the Vatic Pro Prism paddles a lot. First bought a Prism Flash 16mm and found it to be a fantastic all-around paddle. Good control, spin potential, good power and feel. And, I just purchased a Prism V7 because I tried and liked a similarly shaped paddle, but because I like the feel and performance of the Prism Flash, I went with its Vatic Pro brother, the V7. Great job, Daryl. 🤜🤛
@@munchymunch8698 Lately, I've been preferring the Flash because it is and feels a little bit lighter and for whatever reason, I've been playing more up near the kitchen line, so that lighter weight DOES make a difference to me, and I didn't think that it would. The V7 is still a very nice paddle and I still use it, but it's taken a back seat to the Flash.
Just starting to look into lessons and starting to play and through much research, Vactic pro prism was always mentioned in top choices so excited, mine on my way!! Appreciate listening to Daryl and how he got where he has.
You should consider highlighting who you’re interviewing, I had no idea you were talking to the Vatic Pro CEO and this was a great episode! Thanks for the great content
I have been using the Vatic Pro Prism Flash 16 for a month now which I think is a great paddle for beginners. I decided to purchase the paddle after seeing another player using it and started asking about what would be a good Amazon cheap paddle replacement for beginners and also seeing several RUclips reviews. Thank you Daryl Wang for giving players like myself the opportunity to experience a good quality paddle like pros use at a price us who are just learning th game and playing as a hobby.
I am very happy with my Vatic Pro Prism! And as a rec player, I feel like there's still a lot to tap into with this paddle. Nice quality overall and I'll likely buy another in the future. And after this interview, I can say I'm proud to support this family-run business. Great vid- thanks for sharing this!
Very impressed with Darryl and has such a good head on his shoulders and business thinking for such a young man. Interviewer was great and well asked questions! Enjoyed this!
How are they selling the paddles so cheap? Easy. Making the paddles is cheap. Like in so many other markets, the retail price of a product is likely to be 3 times or more than what it costs to manufacture. You can sell your product for half that and still make a decent profit while selling for less than the competition. Most paddles are terribly overpriced. My next paddle will be a Vatic.
I was on the fence deciding on my first good paddle, but this interview helped me decide on Vatic. Thanks for the discount code, my Vatic Pro Prism Flash Long Handle is on its way!
I really like your interview style and appreciated all your questions regarding the challenges he faced to start the business. I would have liked to hear more about how he acquired the expertise to even design a paddle, though it sounds like the thermoform manufacturer may have helped.
I hope play with my Vatic Pro Flash 16mm on Saturday again but it's really weather permitting at our outdoor courts here. Any kevlar coming in 2024? 🤔 The reason I buy from Amazon instead of Vatic Pro site is because the delivery fee from Amazon to Singapore is really lesser.
New subscriber. This podcast popped up and since I just bought a Vatic pro prism 16 delivered by Amazon I wanted to hear. Former rec racquetball player transitioning to PB. Enjoying PB so far. I knew I needed a decent racquet, so interesting to hear the back ground. Question when someone is an 3.0 player, how do they get that rank?
Watching this on April 2024. What new paddles is Daryl talking about? I'm planning on buying a paddle soon and Vatic is at the top of my list, but I would wait id there are a new set of paddles coming out soon.
Agree, return policy is terrible. Stand behind your brand if you believe in it. Obviously, they don't believe in the quality of the product. Selkirk is a great example.
I do not agree with your return policy. "Each customer will have 30 calendar days from the day of delivery to return an item. To receive full credit, all items must be new/unused and contain all original packaging (including plastic wrap) and accessories. Items not in a resalable condition are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any paddles that are determined to be unacceptable will not be eligible for a return. A $6 fee will be deducted from each return for a return label". It is totally UNREALISTIC to return a paddle in a "new/unused" condition. Everyone who buys a paddle is going to use it. I would suggest you give someone a 100% trade in refund on a different paddle. And if the purchaser still doesn't want a Vatic paddle then refund minus shipping cost. Also, some of the reason someone wanting to return would be the weight of your paddles .Paddle came to me at 8oz. After playing and finding it out of balance i had to add weight to lower third and handle. This made paddle close to 8.2oz which caused wrist fatigue. Offering lower weight paddles would also increase sales for you. Just sayin...
The paddle plays well but it delaminated after less than 5 months of play. Daryl does his own customer service and only gives a 90 day warranty which is ridiculous since all other companies give one year. He also stopped answering my emails after I was being very professional. Not buying again for that reason.
The shorter warranty is prob 1 reason why it's less expensive. Works good for me because I usually get a new one every 6 months. Do you have a recommendation for a 100$ paddle with a long warranty?
@@drbryank they did.... theu have a 90 day warranty. You say yours was messed up at 5 months. They stand behind their products and the price is affordable.... thank you Vatic

Vatic Pro Prism Flash works super well for me. Compete at the Open Level and keep medaling with this paddle. Keep up the good work!
Love my Vatic Pro Prism Flash 16mm. My go to paddle last 4 months and it has elevated my game. Excellent control and spin.

You won't regret it. I have both Flash and V7. I'm 3.5/3.75 and love beating rude opponents that have $300 dollar paddles. Great spin, touch, & power.

Pros will play with anything someone pays them to play. Lets face it only the top 10 are making any money as a career.
