Three years ago, when I went through a very bad breakup, I used my PTO at my job, went on a 3-week vacation, and joined the gym. It helped me so much with moving on. I was able to be to myself and focus on what I was planning to do next in my life. Even though I was hurt and disgusted about my ex, I didn't care who she was dating. That didn't matter to me anymore. I just directed my focus elsewhere and allowed myself to move on. That was my way of dealing with a breakup. There's no way I'm going to prison behind an ex. Ain't no way.
