I'm gonna be straight up honest, I found your channel while searching up this mic, and honestly I thought you were gonna be a much much bigger channel when I got done watching, the cinematography and editing here very much gave me HardwareCanucks vibes, definitely earned a subscribe, and I look forward to you future content!
Thanks for the kinda words! I would not compare myself to HardwareCanucks though! My quality is, in my opinion still very inconsistent across videos and it’s something I wish I had more time to work on. But again thank you, always looking to improve!
I have read articles, reviews, and watched videos. Thank you for having the best explanation of the differences with these microphones. Your sound comparison just saved me $70.
Thanks dude, I was looking for a review on this product and you were able to clearly explain everything about it while not straying away from the topic, makes my search for a mic better thanks to you!
Brilliant review! I've been looking at upgrading my microphone from the blue snowball to the yeti to give viewers a more clear sound (not that the snowball is bad or anything) and seeing that there's an option to save a little bit of money without compromising quality and still sticking with a name I can trust is great news 👍
I just found your channel looking up mic comparisons for the Blue Yeti and Blue Yeti Nano and I gotta say I really enjoy the pace of your video and how energetic you are while reviewing. 10/10 I look forward to more of your videos.
I had a hard decision between the blue yeti and the blue yeti nano. I know the original blue yeti has a knob for gain and 2 more options for sound profiles. But the original also lacked portability which was my most important thing. The original was also out of my budget of 110 dollars.
@@hectorsalvador8337 We ran into a couple hiccups due to the virus and wanting to keep our families safe as well as computer issues. We are going to start recording this week actually. Once its up, I'll reply with a link.
I've owned a Blue Yeti mic for over 7 years and I always thought that it'd be the perfect mic if only it were in a smaller package. I've been thinking of getting a new mic since the mini USB port is becoming loose by the day and the size of it has always been a bother. This looks to be the perfect product ;)
I specifically chose your video out of the hundreds because you stated that in the first second of the video, you're using the microphone and it's unedited.
The moment I seen that I can thread this on to a tripod, I instantly crammed that Nano in to my amazon cart. I absolutely hate the condenser kits that came along with the extendable arms, once it gave out, my new mic dropped on the hard wood floor. The sound has never been the same on my current microphone.
Love the editing and overall quality of your videos. I just subscribed and liked the last two videos I have watched. Very inspiring content, loved the RUclips tax and income video. Great stuff keep it going.
I just bought this mic it should be here tomorrow with a mic boom and shock mount and pop filter all for the same price of the original blue yeti. I used to have a blue yeti and it was stolen. so pumped to get this now!
when I want a microphone I want portability. But that also means the microphone will most likely lack sound quality. This blue yeti nano is all I needed
The biggest issue I had with original Yeti was the mini usb port becoming loose to the point of the cable always falling out. Does the micro usb port on the Nano have this issue?
Joseph Holliday same my port broke and they offered to replace it but I just waiting till they made a new mic and here we are, hopefully this time it’s better
THANK YOU! My old full-size Yeti finally died, I picked up the Nano on short notice, and just wanted to know if the voice quality was the same; obviously it is.
Great video, man. I’m starting off with making RUclips videos for my channel. Because of your AWESOME review, I will be purchasing this model for my channel. Thanks 🙏🏻
Bro I missed urvideos...you need to do more! I didn't know about this one...I love the size. If I didn't pick up the bigger brother in the blackout version yesterday for $70 i would have gotten this one!
Amazon had the Yeti Midnight Blue on sale for $89; they also had the Nano for $88. I actually went with the Nano b/c I like that it's more compact and will take up less desk space. I just use it for RUclips videos, so don't really need the extra features of the original Yeti.
Good review. I was all set to buy the original Blue Yeti and was just waiting for Friday to see if there were any deals and I happened to see a mention of a Blue Yeti Nano. Hadn't heard of it so I looked at some reviews and that's how I ended up here. I will get this one unless the original Blue Yeti has a deal for under $100 then I may as well get the original for the same price.
You could have mentioned that to original Blue Yeti had problems when it came to mounting it on a boom because it was so heavy that it would alwasy move the microphone arm.
If you do listen a bit better, the nano does cut out some nasal(mid-treble) frequencies which can work better for commentaries(spoken word) but isnt ideal for music. Plus the nano has a higher bit depth but youtube compresses your audio hard, so you cant really tell much except the tone. Case closed
I am Italian and my Italian is not very good. But I think I understood the most important things. I need a USB microphone, and I think I almost always use it in cardioid mode. I was interested to know if the Blue Yeti Nano is comparable to its big brother. And I think the answer is YES! It is also true, however, that the price difference is not so big. Thanks for this review.
Solid review man, only thing i'd say is sometimes you pause when talking for no reason but yeah everything else is right-on, good video, camera work is fantastic

so true
Vant, I felt the same way, the video is excellent in every way! I had the same thought you had.
Agreed! Still a great video 👍 Thank you!
Honestly
I didn’t know this product even existed. I walked into a Best Buy and there it was. New and not yet reviewed on RUclips! What do you guys think of it?
Jimmy Tries World something tells me Best Buy is gonna get in some trouble for selling it before it was even announced.
There's supposed to be an embargo for it but another store has also listed it up on their page
thank you for the review same thing happened to me walked into bestbuy and youtube brought me here. thanks bruther
It is great! one thing you didnt mention is the original has a gain dial. the nano has only the headphone ones.
how did you edit your sound? do you have something like a driver?
This probably the best review I’ve seen in years
Never seen the blue yeti nano before. I like the size of it. The original yeti is huge
Druvian the brand is just “blue” not “blue yeti”
@@gavin9627 this mic is called Yeti Nano though
@@gavin9627 Where were you going with this? "The original YETI is huge!" Seems like he got it right, to me!

I have the nano and I love it. Works great planing to use it for voice over work for my animation projects.
how much does it cost?
Vady It costs 100. The original Blue Yeti is 130
Nano is ok for asmr or not?
when he said "KOBE" that shit hit different now that hes gone
he said Kobe.. and kobe died today... RIP to a legend..
i bought the blue yeti nano and im happy with my decision
Same

That ASMR test though, lol.
Been waiting for original yeti to die but it’s been a decade or so and it still looks and sounds new
This is my first nicer usb microphone and I absolutely love it.
Does it work on Xbox series x
I love the comparison you made. I just bought a Nano for my channel and this makes me happy. I subscribed!

Micro USB is a more robust port, with locks on the cable. It'll still eventually get loose, but it'll last much longer than a Mini USB
