Peach Jumble - a homemade peach dump cake

Cutting back on processed food and trying to save money by making our food at home.
Peach Jumble- a homemade version of peach dump cake
1 1/4 c flour
1 c sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
**Mix this well and set it off to the side
4 -5 cups peaches sliced (4-5 lbs of peaches fresh, frozen or canned)
**if using fresh peaches add 1/4 cup water
**if using frozen peaches slightly thaw
**if using canned peaches drain
2 1/4 tsp corn starch
**mix well, this will thicken the sauce as it bakes
1/2 c sugar
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
** mix
**Place peaches in a greased 13x9 inch pan
**Top with the dry cake mixture
12 Tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) of butter
**melt the butter and gently pour all over the cake mixture DO NOT mix in with the cake mixture
Bake in a preheated 350ºF oven for 50-60 minutes
Cool, cover and refrigerate
