Its great, I think there is a tendency to say too much and not allow the cards to do the talking which is one of their jobs! I'm a Ventriloquist Tarot Reader by the way 🦆

Hi Kate! Thank you for sharing this. It wasn’t even on my radar. It’s very beautiful. The first thing that came to mind when watching you go through the cards is the Polish Folk group, Tulia. They sing various songs including folk versions of Metallica. One music video I like in particular is all the group members are wearing in traditional Slavic dress, which is very colorful, while in an almost black and white snowy landscape. Simple but very effective. This deck kind of reminds me of that. I wish there was a guidebook that explained a bit about the Slavic folklore, mythology, and culture.

I'm waiting on this deck atm. I can't wait for it to arrive. I feel it will be one of my favs. Right now and for the past little while I've been really into Tarot of tales. Very unique deck.

I absolutely adore this deck! And your interview with the deck solidified my appreciation-what wonderful insight into its personality. I have the bigger version so that I could see the art more closely, but I want the smaller version as well, so I can take it with me wherever I go. It's just gorgeous. I heard they're working on a digital guidebook, and I really hope it comes out soon. I think it will add another layer to this deck. Thanks for the walk-through!

I’ve recently purchased dark mansion tarot & was eyeing this but thought as complete beginner I don’t need multiples decks (I already have 2! 😅) but these look stunning.
Yes, 2 decks is plenty for a beginner...and once you get on that deck buying train, it's hard to get off, lol!

Yes, it is.
Are you reading these using traditional meanings or using intuition? The artwork is beautiful but I really wish they would have made a guide to go with this one (even if was just a pdf file you could download) I feel knowing the stories of mythology behind each card could provided a very in depth reading. I am still deciding on this one.
I read using both the traditional meanings and intuition. I agree - knowing the legends will help with interpreting the cards better. I have a couple of myths and legends books with sections on slavic myths so I will be diving into those.
