Passion planner opened me to a world of simple happiness. I took a calligraphy class to improve my handwriting and was given one of these pens. Writes very smoothly.

My Black Tombow Double Brush tip doesn't seem as soft / flexible as other color tombow pens I see on youtube. And no matter how much I try to pull out those thin lines, it's just not thin enough :) as on your video for example.
Tijana Bulatovic same but it's nice when you steady your hand. mine is also like that just shape it with a paper/hands if it happens to lose the shape.
Tijana Bulatovic Same with my black brush pen. My colored ones are great but the black one this just too thick. You can get a 10 pack for 20 dollars though at Michaels and they work really well.
It’s easier to make those thin lines when 1. Your brush is new so the tip is still firm 2. It’s not frayed 3. When you are an expert calligrapher and making thin lines is easy
The first Tombow dual brush pen I got was from last last week. And I am already used to doing calligraphy even though this was my 2nd brush pen! My first brush pen wasn't Tombow and I had a lot of struggle with it. Now I am teaching my friend how to use her first Tombow dual brush pen!
Hi there. Our most beginner friendly product is our Fudenosuke Colors. The tip of the Fudenosuke is less flexible, making it much easier to control. We also offer free printable lettering worksheets here; www.tombowusa.com/tips-techniques-projects/lettering-worksheets.html
Not rly sadly, their actually the more cheaper ones, brush tip markers usally are in the 30-200(200 for a full set) dollar rang so their kinda cheap i know one marker brand thats 20/30 dollars for only 3 markers tomobows moderate
The Tombow brush pens I found at BlickArt in Providence were very stiff. I thought they were a little more juicy than that? Where can I buy the juicy brush pens!
We recommend checking out our blog post on tips and tricks for lefties. You can find it here: blog.tombowusa.com/2016/09/09/tombowlikealefty-5-solutions-lefty-problems/. We also recommend following Dawn Nicole and Lauren Fitzmaurice on Instagram for lefty tips and tricks.
I spent a good amount of money on the portrait pen pack (because I thought they were for art since I bought the "portrait pallet", there's also a picture of a portrait drawn) and I tried using them for art and they are so bad!!! I ruined 2 of my sketches :// Stick to calligraphy if you use these pens
Hi Natalie! We're so sorry to hear that. Since these are water-based pens it's important to use them on paper that will handle water so that you can get the best results. Our favorite papers are listed on our website at bit.ly/tombow-papers
I have them and find them very easy to blend! I LOVE these markers! I make many drawings and portriats with them. I use water color paper because it can handle the water based pens. Maybe you should try that?
Hi there! You can purchase the Blending Kit from our website at TombowUSA.com or you can purchase from various Michael's locations across the United States and Canada.
After I purchased it, it's so good... But after like a year or less, the tip is ruined--- you can write but not as good as before (especially in the blender)
Hi there! To keep the tips of our Dual Brush Pens from fraying, we recommend using watercolor paper, mixed media paper, vellum, drawing paper, or scrapbook cardstock.
Hello! thanks for the vid but I have some questions : is it possible to use Tombow dual brush pens with regular paper ? Or is it better to use some special kind of paper ? And wich one plz ? thank you very much
We recommend using smooth surface art papers to achieve the best results with the Dual Brush Pens. Typically the following papers will work well: marker paper, tracing paper, smooth mix media paper, vellum, and HP Premium32 LaserJet paper.
Well these are sure expensive..But if you go on amazon their cheaper! Even though i don't think its from the direct brand but mine just got here today and its perfectly fine!
I'm really disappointed in my dual brush pens, I don't get what all the hype is about. Also I would NEVER use them in my bullet journal because they bleed like crazy :/ Maybe I just need more practice, but they were hard to blend in my Bible journal and ended up bleeding onto 8 pages. I'm pretty upset.
Katherine Mulinix Good point. I noticed the paper was somewhat thin-that being said, I have another marker that only shadowed on the paper. I assumed I could have better results with a sketchbook-type paper, so I tried that out as well. No bleeding, but I found the colors hard to blend. I could just be doing it wrong.
Hi Katherine! We're so sorry you were disappointed in the Dual Brush Pens. As Katherine Mulinix mentioned, the brush pens will react differently to different papers so we always suggest doing a test first.
Found these on pinterest and though... "hmm those looks pretty", then googled them and found them on amazon. $151. HA! I'm definitely not taking this hobby professional.
Good Lord that lettering is beautiful.
Passion planner opened me to a world of simple happiness. I took a calligraphy class to improve my handwriting and was given one of these pens. Writes very smoothly.
I feel so uncomfortable using the markers as watercolor background... Cuz thats a heck ton of money being smudged on paper

I got brushpens 12 pack for 2$ or more maybe so like.... Yeah ;-;

I actually can, it's modern calligraphy and it's easy! All you gotta do is make your downstrokes heavier when you write in cursive.

I got a "colorless blender" pen, it comes with a clear lid. how do you use it without staining the pen?
We recommend watching ruclips.net/video/1AfEjGu0tzQ/видео.html to learn how to use our Colorless Blender Pen!
How on earth is it possible for you to make every horizontal and vertical line perfectly straight with no lines of rulers? How?
What is the font style called @1:00 of the video (the word July)? I would love to see how to write it for the rest of the months.
What sin that spray bottle? Water or rubbing alcohol?
ScartletFox11 these pens are water based so it is most probably filled with water

what notebook did u use? i know its Erin Condren but what is it called???
It's an Erin Condren bound journal - it's from a few years ago so they may not sell that exact style anymore.
What bullet journal was that? I would like to buy one
It was most likey something from erincondren.com! They make amazing journals and planners.

How do you store tombow pens ?
Can you please tell me what this blue Thing is? Which dried the painting
Yes, it's a heat tool! It works basically like a hairdryer, blowing out hot air to rapidly dry things.

Als & Kals trust me, everyone suck when they first start. it takes at least months to get it the way you want it (it took me a year and a half)

Can i do the water thing on normal paper?
We recommend using water color paper or mixed media paper for watercoloring with our Dual Brush Pens.
what did you sprinkle?
At 2:14 we spritz water on the Dual Brush Pen ink to create the splash background effect.
What’s in the spray bottle? Just water?
Yes! Since our Dual Brush Pens are water-based, they give a watercolor effect when mixed with water.
Just water ;0)
Yes, just water!
@1:02-1:16 are u kidding me? Hahahaha very impressive. I subscribed :)
Uhm, where can you buy the blending pallete?
Hi there! You can purchase the Blending Kit from our website at TombowUSA.com or you can purchase from various Michael's locations across the United States and Canada.
Is it available at any country on Asia?

I loooovvvveeeeeer my tombow markets to DEATH but I wish that they’d last longer. I use them a lot and the tip starts to fray
The paper you use effects your tombows. Using a smoother paper will keep the tips from fraying.
