I just noticed that this is the brand my friend has. Nice I always ask my friend If I can borrow them so I can use it for school art projects or other stuff
Will the watercolor direct paper method work the same way if I do it on my smooth bullet journal paper? It seems that the water-colour paper is what allows the direct paper effect to happen!
the watercolor paper has a different grain so it holds water. using tombow pens without water works GREAT for bullet journals, but putting any kind of water on those pages is not a good idea.
When I use my tombow brush pens to water colour they don't seem to blend and I just get harsh lines? What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!
It could be the paper you're using! We recommend smooth-surface art papers. For example, marker paper, tracing paper, smooth mixed media paper, and vellum paper work well. For printed worksheets, you can use HP Premium32 LaserJet paper.

@@lele-333 Glad it's not just me haha! I use different paper, sketch pad art paper, HP printer paper, which they have suggested below but still have the issue...
Hi! When I used the yellow from the primary set, it got some other colors on the tip like black. Is there a way to fix this? I hope I didn't not ruin my marker :(
I bought three packages -- grey tones, jewel tones and pastels. I was all excited but they are a HUGE disappointment. It is more like something done with markers than something done with watercolors. Not transparent enough.
This is so fascinating to me 🤣 Lovely !

It would be great if you could do a video on how to use flesh tones on a portrait, as there are not any videos to show you how to do it.
Thank you for the feedback!
Beautiful!

Great tutorial thank you
Excellent video! So just to be sure, did you used a baby wipe to clean the blending brush?
Yes, you can use a paper towel to clean our Water Brush!
Does the water brush come with the pack or do you buy it separately
You can purchase our Water Brushes by visiting www.tombowusa.com/markers/marker-accessories/water-brush-3-pack.html
Will this wash off or will it stay once dried? I was wishing to do this on canvas?
Can you varnish these products when used with mixed media (acrylics on canvas).
I know this was a year ago but I suggest using a thin layer of brush on varnish or spray clear lacquer
I have 4 of these pens and none of them dissolves like that at all. Like they barely get dissolved. What am I doing wrong????
It might be the paper you’re using
Can you tell me the number of the blue marker? It is so pretty 💜 thanks!
The blue marker is Dual Brush Pen 535!
Wait do you just erase your brushpen ink with eraser??

I have the same problem 😢... maybe we use the wrong paper? What paper do you use? (Sorry for my English, I am German)

I have the same exact problem. And of course I use the smooth surfaced papers. They are not getting dissolved. Can it be defected ones?
Hi ! What type of paper were you using in this video?
You can use watercolor paper!

No worries! If you scribble the marker on a piece of paper or Blending Palette, it should get the other ink out!
@@TombowUSA thanks so much! I am definitely gonna be buying your other color sets!!!
Fiirst Comment!!! Nice video but you should really decrease the price of the Tombow Dual Brush pens...
Thanks for the feedback!
@@TombowUSA Thank you and i hope that you will make the necessary changes on the price of the Tombow Dual Brush Pens!!! Thank you so much!
Thanks for the feedback!
@@TombowUSA You get what you pay for. There is no comparison to some I had previously bought. Incredible quality.
@@joaniedorsey6116 I agree! OUTSTANDING quality. Has it for 2 years and still works...
had no idea i could use the pens with water, instead of using them like regular markers
Thanks for the video - very helpful. (I found the music annoying after a minute or so …. just fyi.) 😘
How do I use the blender that comes with the pack?

Good instruction, but the background music is too loud and annoying. I'd much rather just hear your voice.
