The all-new, 10-episode second installment of THE X-FILES is executive-produced by creator Chris Carter, with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning in their roles as iconic FBI Agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY. Mitch Pileggi also returns as FBI Asst. Director WALTER SKINNER. Additionally, the all-new episodes will feature guest-star appearances by Annabeth Gish, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Karin Konoval, Barbara Hershey, Haley Joel Osment and William B. Davis, who reprises his role as “Cigarette Smoking Man.” Along with Carter, series veteran Glen Morgan serves as an executive producer.
In 2016, THE X-FILES drew an average Multi-Platform audience of nearly 16 million viewers and was last season’s No. 2 broadcast drama. It also was the season’s most talked-about event series on Twitter.
THE X-FILES originally premiered in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully and Mulder, as they investigate unexplained cases - “X-Files” - for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.
Produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Ten Thirteen Productions, THE X-FILES is created and executive-produced by Chris Carter.

"You're never just anything to me Scully" -Mulder 😭😭
Jason Trausch this is one of the most beautiful sentences ever said on TV...
The thing about the X-Files is that all the women who were abducted gave birth to alien fetuses or alien-human hybrids were created through their DNA. But not in Scully's case. Her daughter Emily was never born, she was created. But William was born and conceived naturally. Mulder and Scully conceived him in All Things after CSM restored her fertility by activating the chip in her neck during their trip in En Ami. Scully was the only abductee who gave birth to a healthy human baby. But William's mystical abilities came from Mulder and Scully due to them being exposed to the alien DNA during their own abductions plus Mulder being exposed to the Black Oil. Despite CSM violated Scully, he also in twisted way gave her and Mulder the one thing they wanted the most: a biological child together.
Okay why does scully look better than ever
The way he says it, looking into her eyes his voice.. his love for scully..
When I had my baby? Shouldn't that be our baby
Scully, you are never just to me😍😍😍😍
Great Mulder & Scully moment!! Very misterious episode!
Hope William makes an appearance!
same here
Wow, I'm actually impressed. That was a good scene. Bravo Carter. I have faith yet you'll finish the mythology you started years ago.
That hairstyle suits her so well. Way better than the long and short she had the following year
I loved this scene, it is so intimate.
Knowing that William ended up being CSM's experiment sucks.
I don't buy it. CSM is a liar, and this was his last attempt to twist the knife.
OMG our son is fifteen now!!!!! But Mulder's voice is so deep, is it all the singing he has been doing or has he been smoking? He just sounds old! Not that I don't love this and can't wait for it to be shown in the UK!
Susie P As someone who is 69, take it from me, our bodies change.
think he was doing that for the character. in interviews he sounded the same as his old self. plus scully changed in the revival too. she seemed a lot lighter and a lot less stern over 90s scully.
He becomes the new deep throat
Your voice gets deeper as you get older. Happens to everybody.
Probably someone dubbed it to be lower for copywrite purposes?
I love it
😢 que aparezca William sano y salvo para la paz de Scully 😞
David Duchovny looks kind of like Robin Williams.
Somebody finally had the same thought as mine haha
Nope.
@@dana09077Nope, wrong.
I have a bad feeling about William's fate and I don't like it
...Mulder discusses it like a lost dog.
No, you're wrong.
Carter please bring back william
Yeah, about that....

Im on season 9 right now
But im seeing people say that seasons 10&11 are pretty bad snd and not worth watching
Wtf am I percievong
so did they have a affair or what I'm confused
they did have a relationship from 2000 to maybe 2012... in 2001 they had a child... and now the have broken up
In retrospect, this scene was acted to a mediocre level and written worse. She should have said "our baby" or at the very least "had William" and they should have been standing much closer
I realised this happened a lot during season 9 too. I don’t know if the writers were just bad or going for a particular theme - like a sort of possessiveness, reminding us of Scully’s infertility and miracle pregnancy.
And what qualifies you to decide this? Just your opinion I presume.
I agree 💯...I hated S10 so much. The coldness between M&S hidden by sarcasm was just awful. And hello, he was both of theirs, not just Scully's baby. Like, ugh, the revival of X-Files just wasn't what I'd hoped for. CC destroyed Mulder and Scully's relationship and what made them special all those years. Like they are each other's everything, and nothing about the storyline from IWTB through S11 really made sense, it was chaotic at best. Personally, it should have just ended after S9.
It looks like a soap opera or a parody of x files
+tinajack444 It does! Have you seen the first episode? It's like they forgot how to do every part of the show, acting, writing, directing, almost every aspect is off. People also behave in nonsensical ways, not just that it didn't fit the characters we know. It's a mindfuck for me honestly, someone who was a huge fan, though I stopped caring at the end of S7 roughly because it started getting stupid when CC clearly had no idea where to take it. People apologise for it by saying they had so many episodes a season. but only about 4 or 5 a year actually were "mythology" episodes, the others were stand alones that didn't need to relate at all. That makes it EASIER to have created a overall story arc, not harder! Urgh,. It's like we're watching fan fiction that happens to be played by the same actors with a big budget. That's how Im going to see it now, maybe then I'll enjoy it more.
+tinajack444 oh shut the fuck up!
They're so olddddddddd ack
No.
Stop the politics. You are destroyng the series with those leftist positions all the time.
Yes they should, because it is a science fiction series, I don´t care if "Mulder" and Scully" are liberals or conservetive, and i don´t need to know, that shoudn´t be a point, there are some sensitive things that you should really not show in some plays because you can spoil it. Simple as that.
How the heck is this leftist? The X-Files is very mixed politically. It is very anti government, yet pro science.
LOL. Clearly someone who has NEVER read or watched any science fiction ever.
Dude, your the one politizing it.
