Yes that helps for the secondary and the compression of the motor helps some on the wet clutch. Dealerships have a tool to keep the clutch from rotating. A lot of people at home will rig up something if needed to help out. Yes the mudders and deep water riders like to seal up anything and every where to help keep water out. Any clutch that gets wet will slip until it is dried out. It does make it a lot more pain in the butt to take apart if you ever have to though.

After torquing the wet clutch nut, it needs to be staked and you should always use a new nut. Red loctite wouldn't hurt either.

Curios how much the secondary clutch moves before engages the gears inside?

Hello, I don't know the exact measurement on that. Its normally pretty quick, some machines will have a little slack when you switch from forward to reverse or vise versa with all the driveline slack.

can u guys point me to an install video for a 2016 Kodiak or grizzly? Thanks

If you watch this one it is virtually the same once you get to the clutches. It is a lot easy to get to the clutches on the Grizzly and Kodiak. As of right now we don't have a video on the atv's, we use to have one but for some reason it doesn't work anymore. We plan to make another one this summer.

EPI parts are total junk! They wear out in less than half the time.
