Yeah, Coach is right with what JR said. The 3 man booth is a dance and you need a lot more chemistry and be more giving for it to work. AEW Dynamite works really well because the 3 of them are just having a good time while calling the matches. You could tell something was off this week with Double J filling in, which is nothing against him. WWE back then might as well have been a 4 man booth with Vince so the way they made that work was probably nothing short of a miracle!

I remembered he entered the rumble 2006 and the crowd was chanting you suck to him when he tried to attack big show! hahaha! love his honesty in this interview and i do get what he means by he is a youtube guy back in the day and nowadays lot of people of watching because of that specific youtuber. For example, Logan paul i did remember he was in wwe 2021, i didn't know who tf he was and a year later he wrestled in the ring he showed commitment i was impressed! Secondly, I don't even tell my peers that I watch sports entertainment. Growing up, I would have been harassed beyond belief. Today, the same would occur. Although, I spent three of my four college years wrestling at 197 lb. However, due to injury I did have to jump up to the 285 lb weight class three times. Sports entertainment pays well. At the end of the day, you have to do what pays the bills. Fortunately, I went on to get my Master's degree as well as my doctorate. Currently, I am a fully tenured professor of exercise physiology and biomechanics at a major university. Once more, I still freestyle wrestle to this day.

Announcers are replaceable, the good ones aren't. But in defense of Corey, he's had the same problem. The others beforehand have had and that is having Vince McMahon screaming in his ear. Everybody was hating on Michael Cole for the longest time now.Everybody's blowing him like he's the greatest thing in wrestling since jim ross because he doesn't have the man in his ear screaming at him constant.
Commentary is so important. Good guy JR and heel Lawler were peak, and Mauro Ranello is the only modern day commentator I’ve liked. I don’t like Coach, Corey, Cole, JBL’s alright sometimes for big events; but everyone sucks. A lot of em like Cole or McAfee have energy, and that makes people THINK they are great- but they just don’t sound like fans to me. Michael Cole in particular sounds so phoned in, worse nowadays than when Vince was in his ear tbh lol it’s crazy to me the love he’s shown when he’s still just as bad at the job. Constantly STILL calls spots wrong if he even calls spots or moves anymore. He’s just there for excitement. I, used to not like Corey Graves. However, over the years he has grown immensely and he's doing a fine job currently and he's continuing to do so. I like what he's doing now on the mic I haven't really watched RAW with Joe Tess yet. I know he's very biased when it comes to college football I can't say anything about his commentary on RAW because I'm unfamiliar with it but he seems to be doing a fair job so far.
Joe is great on Raw. He is a lifelong fan and keeps up with the storylines, so when he started he already had a grasp of what was going on. Of course going from live football to scripted sports is an adjustment and has had his growing pains. But he has been getting better and better every week.
