Did anyone else notice that as Ned & the gang went through the years the Tips became more and more mature? In the last season it covered Stress, Organization, Failing, & Health. Some of my favorite episodes
I remember a small tip I still use in adulthood. To make the dreaded ‘Mondays’ a bit better, pack one of your favorite lunches and wear a favorite outfit. It’s not exactly life changing, but man it helps!
A good reboot would be a college survival guide. Or a workplace guide. Or a marriage guide. Or a parent guide. Or, even better, Ned, Cookie and Moze return as teachers.
Pamela Mays OMG YES!! Having them return as teachers would be epic!!! I loved this show!! I was in middle school when it came out and it definitely helped me survive school better!! I love Ned❤️ also my dad was a janitor at my school, so I loved that they made the school janitor super cool!!!!😎
Fun fact, there were plans for the show to receive a spin off where the gang goes to high school. Unfortunately it didn't go through but it could have been great .
This show singlehandedly got me through my preteen years. I still use some of these tips, especially the headphones which aren't plugged into anything to drown out noise while studying!📚🎧
In high school, I actually did Ned's tip about the locker combination thing (get the first two numbers, go to class, and then get the last number during breaks) nearly every single day after I saw the episode, and I've loved it ever since! 😁
@@patricktagle1555 At the start of the day (when you go to homeroom or something), you go to your locker and turn to the first two numbers of your combination (or the first few numbers if you have a long combination lock) and then go to homeroom. Remember to keep your lock on the second to last combination number without touching it. On your way to your first class, go to your locker and turn to/put in the very last number in your combination to open it. After getting your stuff, lock the locker and repeat the process for the next class and so on. Works especially well with lockers that have built-in locks!
From the notebooks episode I still (in college) use the tip of writing down what the teacher says and underlying the things they repeat because they may be a test question (and it is true).
When I went to college, I re-watched this show and remembered how helpful the tips were! I don't think I would have gotten my BA without help from Ned, Cookie, and Moze.
Trina Q yep the things you notice as adults there’s a lot of hidden jokes and innuendos in our childhood favorites . Like in Ned’s Declassfied also when Missy says to Ned “let’s check out this small dark room if you know what I mean” and when Missy says to Ned “I like it better when we don’t talk” that’s suggestive for a kids show and the naked lady painting and the iconic “do you think Lisa zemo’s hot?” “I can’t answer that due to the fact that I’m 40”
My favorite one was preparing for school the night before, I didn’t put it fully into practice until college but it was super helpful. Setting out your clothes and packing your bag the night before is super easy and makes getting to work so much faster (esp if you have a hard time waking up like me).
Also handy: make breakfast and lunch the moment before you go to bed then you don't have to do that the next day when you run to your work/school. We always did that when i went to school.
I ❤️ this show! It’s tips helped me through middle school to high school & it’s helpful in college & in life as well. Plus it blends in the comedy, story, & relationships in the show so well.🤩
The Ned's declassified advice for procrastination. Definitely came in handy when it came to getting my place back together. Do one chore at a time make a list of things that need to be done and if you keep it up everyday it gets a lot easier meaning more time for goofing off . I'm also trying to learn making more home-cooked meals so I don't have to go back to my annoying sister . And the show's advice keep trying definitely helps I learned don't be afraid if you make a mistake just keep trying and today I'm getting a little better at making home cooked meals
Bring the cast back with an adult centered sitcom with tips on "how to adult" aka tips on getting a lease or buying a house, starting a family, dating as an adult, budgeting, job search/career advancement, etc
I liked the one about failing. I think I thought a little bit like Moz without the visual extremes. But now as I got older I saw situations like that as a motivator to see how I can do better but now worrying about it
This show was amazing. I remember watching all the episodes before I went into middle school thinking I was getting "prepared." 🤣 A few things hold up but honestly this was more like high school than middle school at times.
This show is a gem! Watched it all the time when I was in 3rd and 4th grade, and am rewatching it on Paramount+ with my brother. It's so original and it acts like a mix between a sitcom and cartoon. Even almost 20 years later it holds up super well!
This show legit helped me through Middle and High School, and as is the point of this video, it still helps me as an adult. See, this is how you make a good kids show. Make it entertaining, but also educational.
I love the tip about reading, it's important and theres some tips to just read a little each day, maybe 15-20 pages a day, and even lookup quick notes on chapters so you can understand what was going on in the book if you didnt understand certain things.
Nickelodeon should make a streaming service where you can watch all the classic Nickelodeon, Nicktoons & Nick Jr Shows (e.g Ned’s Declassified, iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Drake & Josh, Kenan & Kel, Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Doug, Danny Phantom, Invader Zim, Jimmy Neutron, Blues Clues, Dora The Explorer, Peppa Pig, Bob The Builder, Etc.)
This show was one of my favorites, and these are the most helpful tips from the entire series. I just wish they made this show 4 years sooner while I was still IN school instead of after I graduated
Ned's Declassified definetly helped me through Middle school and high school. And college too. I always do the work, ask for help, keep my room clean, and plan my schedule. If it wasn't for this show, I don't know where I'd be. Although I do get stressed if I get any grade below a B- for a class. Hard for me to accept that.
One tip I'll always remember is from the episode where Ned decides to "just do the work" rather than thinking of ways to get around it but still get good marks. Then he finds out that by actually doing the work he gets a B. I forget the science teachers name but he was like "Bigby... big B" But yeah this is honestly key to procrastination. Ultimately, you gotta just do it. And once you start you realize it wasn't as bad. Sometimes starting is the hardest part. Especially with an essay but once you get going you breeze through it and wonder why the hell you wasted your time procrastinating.
You know what i realized we had star power on the show ( loni love, Christian serratos, nolan north, john bliss rip, dave allen, mesach taylor rip, daren noris aka cosmo from faily odd parent's, Lindsey shaw( even though shes gettting hate right now for her social media antics, Daniel curtis lee, devon werkheisher and my personal favorite character mr Monroe aka jim j bullock
I would like to add one thing to the clip about number 7 ::: use the full clip of Ned saying “no” because in that montage he says no to a study date with the girl he’s crushing on, without realizing it. And then he’s all like “NNNNOOOOOOO”
That pack stuff the night before tip is a life saver. Always made brakfast, lunch and my backpack the night before so you don't have to do this when you are in a hurry.
7:28 I finally got to see that guy with a plunger in his mouth to shut up. I thought it was fake or didn't happen. I remember laughing from seeing that as a running gag
Some of the tips I use to this day are I plan out my outfits the night before and pack up my backpack so that way everything is ready when i get up and i can also maybe sleep in a little
I liked this series VERY MUCH because it was the ONLY way I INDEED learned some of those tips for my real life! I guess the procrastination example was the most useful for myself (I still do it, but with much less frequently than when I was younger)! I watched this as an early teenager just like the characters!
I used to watch this show every day after school and now that I'm 21 and in my internship for Nursing school and failed a few techniques I can really use these tips!
The video topic aside, I wonder how they did the basketball on the finger thing the entire series. Because there's no way he could keep doing that in a perfect Center motion while walking.
there's a device that is like a handle on their palm and a rotating metal pole is spinning up to their fingers. :P if you were serious about the question.
The Getting Organized episode does give out some good tips, but there's one thing I think should be altered from that episode. In it, we are told to leave out our clothes all night that way we can have more time to get all of our stuff in our backpacks in the morning. While that is a good tip, I think it needs to be changed a bit. You see, sometimes weather can change randomly the next day when you check it on the weather app the night before. You can still pick your clothes the night before and leave them out all night, but you might still wanna do a double check when you wake up. In addition, it's best that you have everything in your backpack ready the night before. I feel like that would save extra time in the morning. I told my friends this who hasn't seen the show and she agrees that's a more improved tip.
Mr. Sweeney did say that while Ned wasn't one of his best students, he was still one of his favorites. Sweeney never liked seeing Ned down. Especially when he was heartbroken after Suzie moved away. Sweeney appreciates the tips he gives students. So Sweeney did help him out during that time when Suzie moved away, along with the rest of the boys. In addition, Sweeney helped Ned do well on one of his tests by making sure he had a better notebook and got him a treat after for getting an A. When Ned couldn't find a good tutor to help him out, Sweeney decided it was best to tutor Ned himself because it was best to have it be the teacher that was going to be giving the specific test soon and Sweeney did say to Ned "Summer no time for school" since Ned would've went to summer school if he failed. And in the final episode, Sweeney didn't rat out Ned to Crubs for sneaking on the field trip.
Number 8 is actually really helpful. Like every student I have failed a few tests since kindergarten. But I’m made it through high school and now I’m going to college which is exceptional among kids of my disability

Did anyone else notice that as Ned & the gang went through the years the Tips became more and more mature? In the last season it covered Stress, Organization, Failing, & Health. Some of my favorite episodes
Oh yes, I loved how as the gang matured, so did Ned's tips, to reflect what was going on in their lives at that moment.😊
Don't forget how to perform the Heimlich Maneuver.
I'm just rewatching the season and even in 1 and 2 some of the tips can be applied to other aspects of life too.
I remember a small tip I still use in adulthood. To make the dreaded ‘Mondays’ a bit better, pack one of your favorite lunches and wear a favorite outfit. It’s not exactly life changing, but man it helps!
I agree, my mother taught me that tip, and it helps in making your Mondays just the tiniest bit more bearable!😃💖
I actually started doing something on Mondays. I go to my favorite asian bistro to eat some damn good food. Good way to start the week.
Dont work too well though when you go to a school that makes you where the exact same uniforms everyday!
A good reboot would be a college survival guide. Or a workplace guide. Or a marriage guide. Or a parent guide.

I loved how both Sweeney and the VP implied Ned would be an awesome teacher. I laughed because I actually agreed!
I do see Ned as Vice Principal of a school in a future series
As an incoming college freshman, I'd really appreciate the college survival guide.
Trina Q especially the noise canceling ones. May be expensive, but, can help in the long run.
In high school, I actually did Ned's tip about the locker combination thing (get the first two numbers, go to class, and then get the last number during breaks) nearly every single day after I saw the episode, and I've loved it ever since! 😁
LadyCeag840 never worked for me cuz kids would walk halls during breaks and scramble locks...kids were weird
I remember doing that until the end of high school
If I remember, correctly, there was a rule against that in my middle school. xD
can you explain it? I can't remember it well
@@patricktagle1555 At the start of the day (when you go to homeroom or something), you go to your locker and turn to the first two numbers of your combination (or the first few numbers if you have a long combination lock) and then go to homeroom. Why is everyone suddenly remembering this series?
I really hope it goes through what Victorious did. It gets added to Netflix and we all have a nostalgia overload.

It's probably because it resurfaced on a streaming service somewhere, and people are remembering just how awesome it really was!🙌💙
Big time! I use these tips every day
Someone told me it's because Devon Werkheiser (Ned) is trying to get an adult survival guide going somehow.
I still want to know how Seth kept that basketball constantly spinning.
One of life's mysteries.
When you rewatch it as an adult you realize that he was definitely a stoner
The actor had a metal rod that ran down his arm that helped with spinning the basketball.
Seth’s built different
Stoner magic

His tip about clutter helped me with sorting my binder in high school
Same.
Same here!!
Accordion notebooks rule.
I miss this show it was pretty interesting.
Me too, it was my favourite of the old school, live action Nickelodeon sitcoms, next to "iCarly", "Victorious", "Drake and Josh", and Big Time Rush"!😻
It was weird how the janitor spent time with middle schoolers and they would go in the boiler room with him
I know, and how we didn't even question how absolutely bonkers that was until rewatching as older adults?! 😂🤣

This was such a relatable quality program
Bring the cast back with an adult centered sitcom with tips on "how to adult" aka tips on getting a lease or buying a house, starting a family, dating as an adult, budgeting, job search/career advancement, etc
Devon Werkheiser BADLY wants to do that. Not for Nickelodeon. Like for Netflix or Hulu. He doesnt want the characters be parents or teachers.
Highly underrated, needs a reboot immediately.
