I love how SNK was so into fighting games that their soccer games actually sounded like a fighting game. You shoot the ball and it sounds like a punch hit.
I remember a summer in Montenegro where I used to play this game all the summer. The day I finished the game with only 1 coin made me feeling like the neighborhood rising star, I will always remember this feeling of having 30 people around your screen shouting and screaming for you. Thanks a lot Neo Geo
when I was young, i was quite mastered this game.. and now when I want to play this game again, the skills has long gone.. winning 1-0 is very hard in the later stages.. but memories never gone.. this game is absolutely fantastic in the 90s..

The best game Before FIFA kicked in... SS3 has improved on a lot of things on the previous two games including the better Ai except the Ai for player was crap... But definitely a lot better than the FIFA
The Ultimate 11 is considered to be Super Sidekicks 4, but yes, that would make for a cool Super Sidekicks 5. SNK would do good by making a new one. Also, I don't consider Neo Geo Cup '98 to be Super Sidekicks 5, I consider it to be Super Sidekicks 3ε, like an "echo" of the game, just like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's echo fighters.

A thing that I never understand is because the player wins and even reaching the end of the game and clearing it the game over screen appears, I saw that not only in Super Sidekicks 3, but until in other games like Neo Geo Bowling, Neo Turf Masters, Soccer Superstars (Konami) and so on... I always on that time thought why does the game over screen appear even winning the game lol

I just love to score in this game. The goal theme and the player's animations capture perfectly the passion and emotion of soccer.
