I used to be a pig farmer but i stopped due to african swine fever. And then farming of cows came to my mind but i did not do it because i know cows are intelligent animals. They show affection to their shepherds. They know how to get back home when you leave them to graze on grasses. When i was a kid, i used to play with baby cow.They were playful just like dogs and cats. It would be heartbreaking for me if i raised a cow and sell it thinking they would really suffer when they are being killed. They would get near you and have their heads massaged by your hands as if they want you to pet them. I am not a vegetarian and ilove meat so big thanks to companies like beyond meat for giving us alternatives. I will always go for plant based alternatives whenever they are available
Beyond Meat are one of the good vegan substitutes. Whilst I'm a meat eater I do like the vegan options when they are good as eating should be about flavour, not about meat. If you're ever near an Honest Burger, order a normal Honest burger and their vegan alternative as very hard to compare.

I made and ate my first mc plant today and u agree with u Dave it tastes so good and better than a Standard Burger. Might start eating these on my break at work now instead of a big Mac. Great content keep up the good work
The store I work at only started selling them a couple weeks ago, I’ve tried it and it was better than I expected but the smell when its cooking is horrible

Just Finished my own McPlant! As a vegetarian I'm happy that there's another option for me as far as the cheese goes I think alot of Vegan cheeses are a bit odd but some go under the radar when amomgst other ingredients!
Mate this is great news! I’m not vegan/vegetarian but I can’t wait to try this. It’s like when greggs started vegan sausage rolls and people was moaning saying why would someone want that… Well this is all I have because the flavour is so much better and doesn’t give you a stomach ache after eating it. Had a Beyond Meat burger when I went to a London burger restaurant last time I visited (saw it on the menue and ordered it just for the novelty of it)...I almost asked them whether they had switched my order by mistake because I couldn't believe that it wasn't beef. So yes: it's highly processed (so probably not 'healthy' by any stretch of the imagination), but for people - like me - who like meat it's a perfect vehicle for getting off of animal meat consumption.
I was in charge of building the Refirerated warehouse in Ireland when. They introduced the chicken nuggets. Artics turned up with full loads of nuggets. They filled the warehouse (size of 3 football pitches) full of nuggets. We then spent the next three years taking the temperature from 300 sensors and reporting hourly. At the end of the three years they cane and removed the nuggets and destroyed them. They then refilled the warehouse and started selling. Mc D comes from a litigious country. They don't do anything by halves.
I was veggie in the 90s, and their veggie deluxe was brilliant back then- the new ones are crap (especially if you didn't order it!) I'm surprised that I'm actually up for trying this one now, cheers Dave 👍🏻
They used to have a vegetable deluxe burger that was literally a falafel burger and it was absolutely gorgeous. I’d get it without Mayo and put ketchup on instead. They should never have replaced it with whatever that horrid goujon thing is. They seem to get rid of all the good things. Toffee sundae, mozzarella sticks, veggie deluxe, it’s sad 😓
I am from the USA and we don’t have the Mcplant burger 🍔 yet til nov 3rd , but I read They cook the Mcplant burger on the same grill they cook the beef patties. An the Mcplant burger is made of peas, rice 🍚 and potatoes 🥔
My neighbour doesn't eat meat as she doesn't like the texture and doesn't eat fake meats either, but I'm vegan for the animals and LOVED meat so I love fake meats as I can have it both ways 😁
Agreed. You can order the vege deluxe without mayo so it becomes vegan;) I only slightly vegan..still eat cheese occasionally.. Had the BK vegan chicken thing as was sick the rest of the day! Sooo full of oils! Disgusting.
There ok if you smother em in sauce and other stuff. I'm a double glazier fitter. Just started converting roofs to the plastic tec tiles as long as your methodical it's ok but they do take a lot of time. Eurocell always a good bet.

I tried this for the first time recently mainly due to becoming more and more lactose intolerant but still wanting cheese in my burger, was expecting a poor substitute but it tasted lovely much better than the meat options and would have it again, it was a bit slippery so had to hold it together to eat but was very enjoyable, even my other half who loves the beef version tried it and said he would consider choosing the plant option next time, I did find it slightly harder to digest but that’s probably cos it’s good for you, lol, for a vegan option the price is the same as a chicken sandwich which was surprising as most vegan stuff with everything taken out usually costs double

McDonald's catering for the vegans with meat substitute, vegan being a lifestyle choice. Us Coeliacs have to pay full price for half a meal, all we ask for is a gluten free bun as they do abroad. Coeliacs disease is not a lifestyle choice but a necessity, gluten being an intolerance.
Really enjoyed this burger, its easily for me the best thing on there menu, not being dry as hell already made it a winner, it tastes great! I live literally 2mins walk from mcdonalds and have kids who love the stuff, not me though. There burgers are plain and overcooked with no moisture at all. This is a game changer for me.

I am a meat eater but over last few years have moved to mostly chicken and fish, with some pork. It wasn't intentional and I don't know why, though I try to buy free range chicken and always free range eggs. The animals are still dying, but maybe we are realising it. I'm enjoying bean burgers, except for the disruption to the morning doings which can be explosive, so I am experimenting with bean type. As for flavour, they're as good as meat burgers and most meat patties will be coming from multiple animals and not necessarily from the same origins. I'll trust a tin of black beans or chickpeas over a pack of burgers or mincemeat.

I just went to the Warwick way Mcdonalds 2 days ago, they're useless, firstly they were only excepting cash only and their Ice cream machine weren't working, people were getting pissed. And 2 weeks before that the Big Tasty sign was up for 2 weeks after they had ran out of the Big Tasty.

I personally am vegan/vegetarian due to religious reasons which is why I wouldn't be eating non-veg stuff. Just look at India for example, world's largest veg population ever. You can get families in India that don't even consume non-veg stuff for their entire life for that matter and the entire opposite. Just wanted to point that out. I used to go in Subway/Mac Donalds and used to be disappointed with no veg options. The vegan burger/plant burger thingy is a godsend quite literally. I'm for the flavour really. That's a great video and to the point. At lot of people make their mind up on plant based food before even tasting it. The burgers are meant to be for meat eaters who want to try something similar without having to just eat a bunch of leaves. Been vegan for three years but don't dis others who are not. I personally am vegan/vegetarian due to religious reasons which is why I wouldn't be eating non-veg stuff. Just look at India for example, world's largest veg population ever. You can get families in India that don't even consume non-veg stuff for their entire life for that matter and the entire opposite. Just wanted to point that out. I used to go in Subway/Mac Donalds and used to be disappointed with no veg options. The vegan burger/plant burger thingy is a godsend quite literally. I'm for the flavour really. Otherwise I could have led a life eating non-veg but I just can't do it.
