Thank you for this review. Though I've heard other reviews that were more (sometimes even too) technical, I liked the way you presented it for people with lesser knowledge, so good work, thank you. Meanwhile (we're now February 2024) it's sad to learn that 7Ryms has changed the recording bit depth from 24 bit to just 16 bit, while they doubled the recording size to 16GB. Since 8GB was fine, I'd rather had the 24bit recording or, like the Rode Wireless Pro and the recente DJI2, 32bit. Still... the price of the 7ryms is awesome, a lot less than both "competitors"...

i listened to your presentation, and not sure if missed this information or if you touched on it. After recording to the Trans, is CUT & PASTE the only way to clear the trans for other recording?
Its basically like a flash drive. You can drag and drop also.
does it record mp3 also or just .wav format?
Its a .wav file and I'm sure you can convert them using audacity or other similar software.

Yes, you it can be used as a standalone recorder.

Hello, thank you for the nice review. They look great mics. I have two questions...
When recording on both mics, A and B, on Mono mode, Is it possible to have different settings for gain/dB? On the video it shows one at 0 and the other at 6bd but you said both record at the same dB, is that right?
Also, when the audio is recorded on the device, is it possible to adjust the gain? Do the recorded tracks sound good?

No, on Mono mode both gains are the same. The picture in the video of Mono mode was just for illustration. Yes, you can adjust the gain while recording on the device. After the recording is completed you can adjust the audio with any software you have like audacity. Yes, the recording sound good. I hope this helps
