War thunder has many problems like this one but we still love it! You make a great point the overpressure mechanic in this game can be weird sometimes good video!
I do understand what you mean overpressure in war thunder is kinda silly and doesnt make sence alot of times as the crew in the back of that bmp shouldnt have died from this, yet in some cases they do randomly decide to die? And with a similar shot or the exact same even they dont? It really is silly and i think this game has alot to fix in terms of its mechanics

99.9999999999999% of the people that commented on this video have less than one brain cell
roof amore only 5 mm/12mm versus 9.25 kg explosion and 6 kg explosive mass that is 100% overpressure (not counting the projectile mass/speed)

Funny but not true, only the driver or gunner/commander would die, depending on the shot in the video.
yet FV4005s shell wont do the same
Just tested it in the hangar and the FV4005s L1 HESH does overpressure it in the same spots
