- Our match vlog from our away day at Middlesbrough for Gentry Day 2023 as they took on Preston North End at the Riverside Stadium. This is our away day vlog from the Riverside Stadium as we explore Middlesbrough away, including the pubs in the town centre, drone footage of the town, the stadium and the famous Transporter Bridge and much, much more as Chuba Akpom scores 1, Cameron Archer grabs a brace and Marcus Forss adds a late fourth as we see an incredible atmosphere from both sets of fans here. Gentry day doesn't really matter about the result, it's about celebrating the fans. 4-0 sucks but nothing is gonna stop us making a day of our gentry day. One day I'll get up to the Riverside myself cause the atmosphere looks awesome and looks like a chill place

Born in Preston but grew up on the dark side of the M55 in lasher country so that is we don’t have the Preston accent which is a little bit of a thicker Lancashire accent. Even though we thumped you, I have to say that You Bowler Hat Boys were comfortably the best away supporters to turn up at the Riverside this season. Having spent 4 years at Manchester Uni in the 70s, I have always regarded Lancashire folk as some of the loveliest people in Britain. Today you proved I was right. God bless PNE and their supporters.
And likewise I have found the people of Middlesbrough the loveliest of the lot including Lancashire. Easily got in places around Middlesbrough and exploring it. Glad you like the hats as it is a Preston thing we do every year. Best of luck to you UTB

Thanks for recommending I couldn’t do all in the pubs in the time we were there. It is a great place to drink in Middlesbrough like the Nuthatch but opens much later.

@@jsgcfootball I know I agree unfortunately all tickets are going up 8% for us next season regardless of the league we are in. We could have it at capacity if it was even £5 cheaper. We very rarely get away crowds of more than 500, it’s understandable really.
New subscriber quality this boys from a boro fan. Spot on with ticket prices we had 26,800 actual home fans today but we’d completely sell out if the prices weren’t ridiculous. Thanks for your very generous comments lads, brilliant video, only downside as a boro fan about the video is you tried a parmo in the stadium, the stadium doesn’t do it justice so if you enjoyed them in the stadium, wow you would be in for a treat if you had one in one of our decent restaurants which do a tremendous parmo and so takeaways as well however many takeaways absolutely butcher it too. The stadium ones are very basic and not much flavour to us teessiders but at least you enjoyed it. 👍 good luck for the rest of the season.

Great little video, as a Boro fan living in Preston the result certainly kept a few of my work colleagues quiet! Although the result wasn't what you'd have wanted on Gentry Day, it's safe to say that you've been the best away fans at the Riverside this season doing your team proud and despite the result, glad you enjoyed your day on Teesside 'cha'.

@@leethistlethwaite4381 Happened to us yesterday in the peak district as the wind took control of the drone. Managed to land it as i saw our car as we went on a wild goose chase finding it in the peak district for the chesterfield game. Haha great fun flying in high wind.
