For the scratch, consider getting a Toyota paint pen. I got a white one on Amazon for only ten bucks and some change. Covered up every scratch and chip on my Tacoma and I still have some leftover.

Yeah I'll get a paint pen to cover it up ... but something larger will definitely be covering it up in the near future.

Hi, out of curiosity, where did the leak end up? I have a 2005 regular cab and the dealership did a water test on it since I reported water dripping into passenger feet area .. turned out to be related to AC drain hose. Now fixed. But during the water test, they pointed out water was leaking into down the back window (from upper corners) and might pool under the carpet and eventually under the bench seat. I'm thinking it might be because of the seal. They say the entire glass assembly has to be replaced since the seal comes with it. I'm thinking I should just apply a bead of silicone sealant all around. But then I saw your video and I'm wondering if I use that drip rail molding strip ... water can channel to the sides. Thoughts? Ideas?

I never actually had a leak back there. Just did this as a preventative measure as it seems a common place to get a leak. Still haven't had any issues.

Hi there buddy, what did you end up doing with your leaking issue..?
I have an exact same truck and it’s doing the same thing and I don’t want to change the whole back window it’s way too expensive, can you share what you ended up doing?

@@krisarrcha5914 Unfortunately I wrecked that truck on a snowy day in early 2020, so never looked into it.

Hay man, the scratch on my roof is biggern' yours 😜 (mine was a car awning wind whipped the frame all over the top an' sides couple of months ago.) That said I have not had any leaks either, in my '14- but I don't ever remember opening the slider either. Good Idea/product though bet it'll help eliminate a bunch of minor misery's for folks👍👍👍👍
