Definitely trying this! Note: Never splash water into hot oil/grease. I would simply suggest dropping a tiny bit of flour in the pan to test if the oil is ready.
I made these and they're really good! After I rinsed with water, I used a paper towel to squeeze out the juice so the brine taste would go away. It worked. Thanks so much for this awesome recipe!!!
I use fresh Jackfruit; I got 22lbs for 17$ and prepped it for different meals. I haven’t fried it yet. I soaked it in veggie broth and made Thai soup with some. I ended up with 1.5 gallons (put in qrt bags).
I’m making jackfruit nuggets today for the first time, and your video was very helpful. I love your baby on your hip skills. I remember those days with my girls.❤️
Instead of plain flour my mom always uses rice flour... Just mix rice flour with spices and salt and water....and make a batter....then just dip the jackfruit pieces in the rice flour batter and fry it.....it'll become very crunchy and yummy 😋😋
@@forevertrue06 yuup....wet batter... It should be neither too wet nor too thick.. And i asked my mum...she said that she adds a lil bit of soaked gram grinded with lil bit of onion and garlic in it... And some spices... Do tell me when u try it😄❤
Girl THANK YOU for this. I've had 4lbs of frozen jack fruit in my fridge for months now and I've been trying to find creative ways to get rid of it. Kids gonna eat fried goodness this winter break lol
My first thought asap, was cooking with one hand and baby in the other equals #Skillz and as I pause I cant help but laugh at the way you said, "Sassoon" like "oh la la Sassoon" haha. I also see you have some Ancient Egypt or what I call Atlantis/Influence going on too. Hey, it looks like you waste a lot of milk and sauce, so you can add flour to it and whip it up good and then slow heat it with some olive oil to make a thick sauce for your chicken. Thanks for the video. Love to everyone here, Chris
@@forevertrue06 This is the first time I saw your video and did a quick browse of your page, nice material. Not sure how much Jackfruit recipes you do, but I find it makes great bbq pulled pork, crab cakes and chicken salad. Lots of Love to you, the little ones and your Family.

Wtf I just discovered you can fry jackfruit? 😳😳😳 Does it work with fresh jackfruit? This jackfruit looks nothing like ours here, but I wonder if it still works because I'm definitely tempted to try
And you didn’t taste the brine in these? I usually do a 2 hour boil when I make tacos biria but I don’t think I should do that for these . What do you think?
Does it still hold out the texture when you boil it? It was still a bit briney (is that a word?). I think if you can boil them and keep the texture intact if you just let them cool down it may still work out
@@forevertrue06 it holds when I use in tacos but I am making these tonight. I boiled them for only one hour instead of 2 and now I’m drying them out a little in the oven maybe ten minutes. That may not have been necessary but I’ll let you know how they turn out. So far their shapes are the same.
“You see them skills, holdin’ the the baby while I do it.” Golden!!
I replayed that moment a good 5 times.
Luv you, sis!!

Just a lil sprinkle of water. But I hear u

Thanks for sharing, can it be cooked in a air fryer
I’m sure it can but I’ve never cooked anything in an air fryer. I def want to try though
Note! Never put water in hot oil!

I’ve seen people use fresh jackfruit before but never to fry it. I’m sure that as long as it’s not too sweet it’s possible
I’m gonna use that same recipe but with chicken

Is it supposed to be a chicken alternative? How does the taste compare?
I gave you a thumbs-up but I can imagine someone thumbing you down for holding the baby while you cook.
if you can, can you do another vid with jackfruit or tofu.
Yes
What do it taste like. Do it taste like chicken or fruit
Does taste like fruit (sweet) at all.
Can this be done with fresh jackfruit?
I think fresh jackfruit may work or it may be too sweet I’m not sure. Let me know how it turns out
So you kept the core right
Yes. Really make sure you rinse it then pat it dry as much as you can even squeeze some of the liquid out then soak in your milk and seasonings
Let add water and cause a fire
lockheart1221 lol yep
My sister where can I find this
I got mine from Trader Joe’s. Where ever you buy it make sure it’s in the brine. I’ve also seen it in Asian supermarkets
