Definitely trying this! Note: Never splash water into hot oil/grease. I would simply suggest dropping a tiny bit of flour in the pan to test if the oil is ready.

I use fresh Jackfruit; I got 22lbs for 17$ and prepped it for different meals.
    I haven’t fried it yet.
I soaked it in veggie broth and made Thai soup with some.
I ended up with 1.5 gallons (put in qrt bags).

Instead of plain flour my mom always uses rice flour...
Just mix rice flour with spices and salt and water....and make a batter....then just dip the jackfruit pieces in the rice flour batter and fry it.....it'll become very crunchy and yummy 😋😋

My first thought asap, was cooking with one hand and baby in the other equals #Skillz and as I pause I cant help but laugh at the way you said, "Sassoon" like "oh la la Sassoon" haha. I also see you have some Ancient Egypt or what I call Atlantis/Influence going on too. Hey, it looks like you waste a lot of milk and sauce, so you can add flour to it and whip it up good and then slow heat it with some olive oil to make a thick sauce for your chicken. Thanks for the video. Love to everyone here, Chris

Does it still hold out the texture when you boil it? It was still a bit briney (is that a word?). I think if you can boil them and keep the texture intact if you just let them cool down it may still work out
