I agree 100% with this video. I'm Canadian but I grew up in the USA in Miami and did all my studies in the US. When my mother got sick with Cancer in Miami, she decided to go back to Canada for treatments because of socialized medicine. So I decided to go back to Canada to be with my Mom. But I still had to go back to the US to conduct my businesses. And each time I would cross the border the freaking US border administration would make my life soooo miserable that after being detained for 8 hours on several occasions and interrogated for hours for being a dual citizen and traveling back and forth and missing my flights and having to book last minutes flights again and having to stay in a hotel for an extra night and all these expenses that they forced me to incur and the waste of time they caused me and delays to my meetings and attending to my business, I've decided to burn it and forfeited my papers and citizenship. It's wasn't worth the trouble. These people have absolutely zero respect for the years of contribution I had given to their country. I have never set foot in the US ever again. Oh and moreover, because at the time I had forfeited my status, they banned me from entry into the US even if it was to catch a flight to go elsewhere in the world. So screw them. I hate the US . I'll never go back ever again.
I agree, but Canada has lost a lot of their shine. By Canada joining in the US wars, the extreme lockdowns, and the other fascist actions, Canadians are not as loved as before. Sad
@@ethanmurray2203 Hell yes, I totally concur with that. I left Canada as soon as I could in 2021 during COVID, and moved to Cape Town, South Africa. I love it here. Life is good.
Not only dual citizenship people but they even treat their own probably more worse. I went to Vancouver and had to go back to the states but the US immigration officials asked me some $tupid questions. For example, Why am I going to the US? I showed them my passport already 😂
Someone said this is the government's plan for preventing hyper inflation. Increase the number of temporary residents who will remove US dollars from US banks, and reduce the currency in circulation
I think this video make me realise how much real power the global south has. If enough middle income states challenged the U.S then the overall benefits of being global hegemon would seriously diminish to the point it becomes unbearable

As a 23 year old American, I'm grateful that I am of age where I can actually make use of this information and leave this country within a calendar year. It's a shame that those younger than me will be forced to stay here as the Titanic sinks. I've never perceived this country as being on the incline in my entire lifetime
You are on the right track. The U.S. is a Welfare State and Police State, and the Deep State is a massive beast that needs constant feeding. Also, Western feminism and other forms of cultural Marxism have destroyed the culture and society. Feminism in particular has utterly destroyed the value of American women. For me personally, the government destroyed my business and made me abandon my home. I feel like I would be treated a LOT better in a LOT of different countries.
And where do you think life is any better? Lower taxes for the rich don't make a country a good place to live. You are in for some major reality hitting you.
Oh, you poor, poor thing. Cry much? With some specific exceptions, America rocks. I'm loving it. But then, I've travelled to some pretty crappy places and have perspective. And I got an education, worked hard, and invested, so I retired early. America came out of the pandemic better than almost anyone, while China, Russia, and others are treading water still. Inflation sucks, but inflation was global, and in the U.S. it's come way down. In Argentina it's 276%; in Turkey, it's 75%; in the U.S. it's just over 3%; in China, they have had short periods of deflation, which is worse - and China lies about their stats anyway, so things are always worse than they say...same for Russia. Go ahead, move. No one is stopping you. You'll like it there for a while and then you'll start missing things; that's usually what happens. But maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones. Go for it. You only live once.
As a 59 year old, I tend to agree with your analysis. I don't like. I do miss the USA that I lived in as a child. I say FJB, and Trump 2024 (and I may move to Argentina all the same!)
Most of the US government's unfortunate interactions with other nations, especially over the last 30-40 years, has been driven by a desire to defend the world reserve currency status of the dollar, all the while destroying it through irresponsible economic, social and political policies. There is no need for a world reserve currency. If you looked at nearly every American's balance sheet, you would realize that having the reserve currency has made them poorer, not richer.
Being a reserve currency is not from desire, but from having a desired currency because it is stable and freely traded. That is why the Chinese Yuan is not a reserve currency. It comes with many benefits and a few responsiblities.
@lks11 is it possible that the reason why we are going electric is because the US can no longer bully its petrodollar on a pedestal. Due to the education of simply being able to use alternative fuels like bio-diesel etc. It's no longer reasonable to have a dollar pegged to crude oil and be at the mercy of OPEC..... also wtf is crude oil. If we pump so much of the earth's blood and those pools are empty can't that cause a foundational collapse of the earth's surface..... it makes no sense geological...... so with that said the dollar is naturally meant to be depegged..... now historically speaking what's the next global reserve currency...... XRP, BTC, XDC...... if so how can the globe come to a consensus....... now we have to stress test these DLT currencies....... if we collapse the dollar we best have a stress tested new currency on a global scale. Because obviously the globe should be free to all humans. We don't want to close borders it's best we stay globally friendly. So we have to have a credible, quality new reserve currency to equalize all economies and each economy will be as strong as its working class and not its swindling class/ evil lazy slothy class.....
It’s making the developing countries richer and this is what happens when it back fires on them.Americans,Canadians and Europeans are moving to Asian and middle eastern countries bringing capital in.In the United States nobody isn’t coming with capital, there not coming with any talent nor skill of there own. There coming looking for everything meanwhile the resources in the United States are becoming limited and with people coming in not creating any opportunities in the country nor not bringing any capital, skill nor talent.I can only imagine how this will turn out.

Brazil operates its visa policy based on diplomacy. It's VERY difficult for Brazilians to even VISIT the U.S., why should Brazil allow American tourists to easily visit Brazil? I'm Brazilian and 2 years ago some of my family members applied for a tourist visa because they wanted to vacation at DisneyWorld in Florida. They paid a non-refundable amount of 300 US$ (very expensive to Brazilian standards), showed proof that they're not planning to overstay their visa and spent hours in line at the consulate just to be denied entry and be treated badly by the staff.
I like the fact that Brazil has a law of reciprocity in place. If as a Brazilian you're required a visa, then that country should require one for Brazil.
@@katerinejonhson4416 That's why foreigners applying for a tourist visa are asked to show proof that they're not going to overstay their visa (employment letters, bank statement, investments in their home country, proof of residence and etc) but US consulates are indiscriminately denying most applicants so Brazil decided to show reciprocity. I fear a lot more countries are going to start denying entry to US passport holders.
This is awful, just to go to Disney. How silly. Sorry your family was denied a trip of a lifetime of good memories of the U.S. it's also bad, because of Americans that had nothing to do with your family will be denied into your country. Your country (Brazil) is beautiful and so are the people. Hopefully one day I will be able to visit.🌄
This would be devastating, but remember 53% of Americans don’t have passports, so I’m sure there are a lot of Americans don’t care about traveling it Europe.
It’s not because they don’t want to travel it’s because they can’t. They are tethered to their jobs and mortgages. In reality the U.S has seen record levels of passport demand. This is a sign that people are questioning the value of living in America
@@deezeed2817the reason there has been a spike in demand for passports is due to more of the foreign countries that Americans visit requiring passport to visit and even the instances where a passport isn’t required having a passport simplifies the process so people are applying. Until fairly recently a person from the USA could travel around the majority of North and South America and the Caribbean with just a drivers license and birth certificate. Now unless arriving by boat or crossing by foot or car a passport is required and even when you can travel without it having a passport makes it way easier. Just got back from a cruise around the Caribbean and Central America and while a passport wasn’t necessary for the cruise and the ports visited checking in at the beginning and disembarking the ship at the end was way faster and simpler for those with a passport than those without one
It actually is, the interrogation of the custom offices is the worst in the US. They are so rude to the point that I expect to get scrutinized even when I have a transit. The probability of encountering rude officer who wants a power trip over passengers is too high in the US.
@@Blue-Anons...inutile-people The explanation is obvious. The government would rather replace us than to satisfy our needs. That is why I left 5 years ago.
I travel often, mostly international trips. I use Mexican and US passports. The Mexican passport has become the most hassle-free one to use. I've applied for a Panamanian one, too.
The Panamanian passport, citizenship apparently of difficult to obtain. There 5:43 are those who had residence there for up to 20 years, applied for it and still could not obtain it.
I'm applying for my Panamanian passport as well, in case things go "topsy turvy" in the USA. AFAIK, Panama doesn't make you renounce other citizenships
Egypt got fed up with Canada and now charges 150.00 for a visa available only at the embassy in ottawa. Even egyptian citizens have to get a visa to visit their native land. It was done because Egyptians were being denied visitor visas to Canada..including grandparents etc coming to visit grandkids. No visa on arrival for Canadians in Cairo either.
@@kwacou4279 That is correct regarding most Egyptians going to places as Canada and other relatively wealthy countries, that's why then it becomes hard for the others to get visas.

Guess who got extra scrutiny from a "random" check when boarding the plane. I'm not a rah rah US is best guy. But don't you think your list is a bit biased? Most of your clients are US clients because they have the money. It's your client base.
No it doesn't. The harsh truth is the American always gets through. It gets bullied, yes, but does it matter when you can call the US embassy for help... and they actually respond?
ESTA is travel authorization, not e-visa. From the backoffice experience, visa provision is a process that is longer and more scrutinized before and on arrival at the port of entry. Travel authorization is usually automated for 99.9% of people and only scrutinized at the point of entry. Also e-visa basically means same cost but no interview and sometimes no special visa paper stamp or stamp on arrival. Esta is cheap and just a flag that you can travel and will get scrutinized at the border.
I miss the golden old days of 2019 when most of those who followed you and actively participated in the conversation were people who are actually nomad capitalists. Rather than the ones who question “How am I making money being Argentinian” 😂 I am in the process of getting Argentinian Passport, and I’ve been obtaining multiple other residencies and passports since 2021, and my income has been rising in the past few years with business, despite not living in the US anymore. It’s funny how there are still people whose small 9-5 minds are so fixated to the job seeker mindset of “I can only make good money in America”, whose minds are so limited to the point to naively believe someone’s income is linked to their nationality only. It’s 2024, lots of money is made on the internet, cross borders, etc. As long as the citizenship is not from a heavily sanctioned country, there’re plenty of ways to make money regardless of citizenship. But Mexico is tired of so many Americans coming there and driving up housing costs with all their money. Americans are warm and welcoming too. You'd have to live somewhere really crappy to not find that. Pretty much people the world over are warm and welcoming. That's why it's such a joy to travel.
You’re absolutely right and most of the people with passports to travel do not pay attention to Geo politics will have a rude awakening when they can’t travel to certain countries. Especially RUclipsrs who make travel videos for a living.
The U.S. may be the hardest country to move to (legally), but right now, it's one of the easiest to just walk right in to and set up shop. Perhaps that's why it's getting more advantageous for those who can, to leave. We're only as good as what we tolerate.
We have all witnessed western countries were easily dominating when other countries weren’t competitive at the time. But as other countries become more competitive the western countries fold. The other thing I want everyone to realize is this is what makes Asia and middle eastern countries different, even if you aren’t wealthy and aren’t a high net worth individual yet,as long as you are skilled and talented they are willing to work with you because you are already heading in the right direction. But western countries they won’t,with the United States,Canada,Australia,Germany,u.k and etc you either have to be wealthy already or needy which means needing the government for government jobs, government assistance, government food stamps, government aid.And this is why western countries are severely declining everything is either on the far extreme left or right. There is no middle nor in between and without that you don’t have any balance.
That's because most would see a Pinoy/Pinay as wanting to overstay their visas. However, citizens wise. Majority of the world sees Phillipinos as much more kinder/gentler people in comparison to US Americans that are not naturalized citizens.
This was excellent…. I watched a second time and was struck by the *detail* you supply re: (US citizens expecting visa-free travel, bc the visas are “automatic” or “have been”): “We now feel comfortable doing to you what you do to us.” The timeline for the changes to travel by US passport holders is short, and it will only get harder.
One thing that nomad guy hasn't really tackled head-on but skirts around the edges of: there is a great reset coming and this has nothing to do with conspiracies. There is too much debt in the world and currencies are going to collapse and when they do there is no way that the lifestyle millions of people enjoy now will be possible. When that happens and people go back to bartering, you need to be in a place where you can grow your own food and have safe clean water to drink and shelter. That should be the first priority for all of us
We tried to check in for our flight from Japan to LA and I was able to get my boarding pass using the machines at the airport while my husband with us passport was required to do a line and get his boarding pass from the counter.
From ghana 🇬🇭, the United visa fees that they charge is nonfundable and also the chances for being refused a visa to come visit is almost 100%,most reasons they give u is you have no traveling experience ,what's that shit? They use the visa to take soo much money of the country and poor people, which to me is ridiculous.
I’m glad other countries have implemented this policy especially to USA.. The self-entitlement of the USA needs to stop & it’s about time other countries tell the US: You don’t own the world!
If you land at LAX from an International flight. When you go through US Customs. Their will be up to 6 long lines of people only holding American Passports. You will probably be one of the few that speaks English.
So what, you don't make the rules up for this country. This country was founded on immigrants - that's the American spirit. It's not a Whites only, English speaking country. You're not qualified at all to make the rules. You probably couldn't even pass an engineering course to save your life.
That's because America is a nation of immigrants. And that is necessary now because Americans are not having enough children to support a growing economy. That is the dirty little secret to why government never fixes immigration. They know we need many immigrants, and illegals work for less, which is what political donors in certain industries want. The government also likes them because they commit fewer crimes per capita than U.S. citizens, pay more in taxes than they get in benefits, and can be sent home if they are a problem and are caught. Plus, there's the ethic of "send me your huddled masses". It's partly a moral thing.
You cannot compare a country like the USA to some tiny country with tiny population. It would be better to categarize countries based on size and and economic prowless. Tiny countries need their own category of tiny countries. Its like comparing a 20 thousand square feet beach front luxury home to a tiny cabin in the woods
Getting a USA B1/B2 visa is almost like a lottery, and you often get rejected for the same reason. They say you don't have enough ties to Brazil to qualify for this visa. For example, I work remotely for a tech software company in the USA and earn around $5,000 a month. However, since my wife and I are under 25 years old and didn't come from a wealthy family, we got rejected. Honestly, I have a secure job here, so how could they think we would immigrate illegally in such a scenario? I still want to go to the USA, but having only five cities in Brazil where you can apply for a visa and going through all of this makes me feel like I'm begging and humiliating myself to get a USA visa. Next year, we'll try to go to Canada. If that doesn't work, I guess that's it. The USA embassy treats South American people like inferior human beings. If none of this works, I'll travel to alternative countries, and they'll be the ones missing out on my money.
The issue is that Brazilians overstay their visas in the USA at a massive rate. The rate is too high (by law) for the country to join the Visa Waiver Program and, therefore, for Brazilians to get visa free travel. So, if there's anyone to blame, it's your fellow Brazilians.
EU passport when traveling to other countries within the EU should not count as “traveling” That’s like saying I need my U.S. state ID to travel to the 50 states. That’s not the same.
European countries are really different countries, not states! The EU is a joke to everyone living in Europe, not something we have "in common" like the US states. Every country in Europe has it's own states within it, called "Bundesland" in Germany, , "Regione" in Italy, "Departement" in France, "Maakunta" in Finland, "Kanton" in Switzerland (which cleverly never joined EU despite being in the middle of Europe)... Of course you need at least your ID to travel, some countries demand passport. Of course there is a border between France and Germany or between Austria and Hungary.
so true, I was suprised last saturday when I got denied boarding on a flight going to Africa with my US passport. they said tgey needed me to book a return ticket as well instead if one way ticket.
Hey ive been watching your channel for some time now and i highly respect your knowledge on the worldwide stage, ive been to many countries as a us citizen including living in dubai last year for 6 months with my residency and living in bangkok for 1 month, only thing i disagree is the value you place on the US , everyone hates us policies and tax rules including me who owns multiple businesses which is why i setup shop in the dubai freezone but one thing i must note is that the USD is more valuable and secure for any of us expats! What people fail to understand is that its easy to bash the us while living in a cheaper country like Thailand or Malaysia while gettiny paid in USD but lets see how much you like those countries if all ofnyour income is was paid to you in that local currency. Thats when you will realize the vakuebof the US and mostly the USD, i hate the US policies but i realize i live very comfortable in asia with the security of all of my income coming in USD. i would never trade that for there local currency! This is the point that needs to be stated. The true making money in USD but living in a country like malaysia or thailand off of the USD
I have been saying this in several posts. It's easy to bash America while they enjoy a good quality of life with American $. I bet life would be very different if they were living like the locals.
I understand why you rant the US excessively from the perspectives of a nomad capitalist. The US definitely has a handful of chronically pervasive issues regarding the economy and passport index but it isn't as ostensibly shabby as depicted. It is obviously better off to have mutiple citizenships but I reckon the US passport might be just prestigious enough to visit most countries on earth.
To visit, sure. To do business, not so much. Your government has a habit of sanctioning all manner of people, countries, entities, banks, companies - this jurisdictions applies to US persons, meaning that you personally cannot deal with parties under sanction which cuts you off from business. A clear example is the BDS movement against Israel. By law, an American person cannot deal with anyone of any company who even personally expresses support for BDS even if they don't actually do a boycott. Think about what that means for company liability if they have an American dealing with foreign business partners in countries that are generally anti-zionist. You' re just not going to get some positions, because of your nationality being such a massive risk.
As a violent convicted felon who has served his time (assault 1 back in 2007) was released in 2010 I’ve had no issues gaining a passport once I’ve finished my parole so I’ve traveled to the Schengen zone (France 🇫🇷 & Belgium 🇧🇪) I’m wondering if with Etias implemented next year if I would have an issue traveling to Europe. Also I’ve been to Türkiye 🇹🇷 and I had to pay $50 for an Evisa to travel there. Supposedly Türkiye 🇹🇷 doesn’t allow convicted U.S. felons if discovered but I didn’t have any issue obtaining their Evisa and being allowed entry into the country.
There are many negative comments about the USA on this thread; and I don’t understand why. I live in Louisville, Kentucky where there are many refugees from other countries who want to start a new life here so why do many American citizens want to live in another country?
Try to understand what Andrew is saying. He's just pointing out that the US is no longer the same on the global scene. The respect is disappearing. People who want to come to the US are the IGNORANT and UNINFORMED ones, who dont know the true state of America! Many people around the world believe Americans are rich. So they would sell their houses and businesses just to come to the US. And when they get here, they are shocked at the reality of life in America. It is not as easy as they thought it would be. To make matters worse, many don't even have money to go back to their countries. I know of a guy who told me he spent a jaw-dropping $20,000 just to come to the US. Now he is disappointed because the US is not what he thought it would be. He told me he was shocked to see so many homeless people in America, which is unknown where he comes from. Now, he's trying to see how he can go back home. But the problem is that $20,000 was raised by borrowing. So he has to pay that back. The reality is, and you and l know it. America is in a financial mess, and Americans are struggling. Many people around the world don't know this because they think the US is Hollywood. There was a time when the US and the passport were golden. But it is slowly coming to an end. As you may be aware, the world no longer wants to use the dollar. That's why BRICS has been formed. And once they finalize their new payment system ...the dollar would be dumped. Which would severely affect Americans who are already struggling.
Bureaucratic "just because rules" that are mind numbingly stupid. It's embarrassing how senseless and accepting of useless rules we have become. 50 years ago it was predicted that in the USA we would someday require passports just to get from state to state (just like the USSR), we are practically at that point now (re. Real ID driver licenses).
I was waiting to hear you say it was “close,” or “it depends on your situation.” I chimed in “yes!,” when you named Switzerland as “first.” So much more freedom there (than in the US, UK, many other nations); more order and safety, more multicultural than the US (certainly per capital) leading to cosmopolitan cities. Number one for me for decades has been its breathtaking natural beauty…. Blathering on in favor of Switzerland: one has excellent healthcare, excellent infrastructure, etc. As a cultural matter (not solely based on laws, which the US has too many of but doesn’t even enforce in warranted cases, leading to increasing lawlessness), most Swiss people do what they say they will. They do have a sense of communal responsibility, eg voting (via direct democracy) for a living wage for employed workers (obv not those who are self-employed) in Zurich and Geneva. Most Swiss are proud of being able to afford doing so while keeping taxes low.
*Edit: ”multicultural” … “per CAPITA” (not “capital”), although the cities are bustling with people from around the world, speaking nearly as many languages as one will hear in NYC. (Geneva, with its UN post, does supply a representative group from all its member countries, with all their languages and cultural influence, and with nearly all fluent in English).
In 2019 I decided to move to France from the US. I'm born and raised in the US. I didn't realise how bad the US is until I decided to move out of the country. For all of you Americans who say land of the free. You'll learn just how free you're not when you try to leave the country. It was easier to get into France than to get out of the US. I have a completely different perspective on the US now.
The reason the US is called the land of the free is due to having more absolute protections in place for things like freedom of speech and other First Amendment protections. Is the moniker a bit hyperbolic. Yeah. It used to be, less so, but it has nothing to do with your ease of leaving or entering the country. Sure, there are plenty of things America is doing wrong, and, like you, I gained perspective on those things by living abroad, but part of the reason I came back from Europe is because I saw people starting to get arrested for social media posts. Now England is talking about trying to extradite other nations' citizens for violating its laws on speech, and all I can think is," I dodged a bullet.
I knew about ETIAS coming through. I will handle that as an American. NOTE: the places I travel to beyond the Americas often require a visa. They are India, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I have a standing visa in my US passport for India and for Vietnam. For India I have an OCI visa. For Vietnam I have a visa waiver because I am married to a Viet Kieu. My wife enters and leaves Vietnam on her USA passport (not her Vietnam one). She also has a stamp in her USA passport to do it. She gets hassled as a Viet Kieu if she shows her Vietnam passport to the officer. They want a bribe if she shows her Vietnam passport. The USA passport is a deterrent. So, for things like E-Visa I have done it as an American. I have gotten physical visas as an American. Typical stuff. I knew about Cuba for foreigners. That is why foreigners get a new passport and keep their mouth shut about Cuba for USA. This is why my friends get a new passport after returning from Israel. They get a new passport to go to other Persian Gulf countries. Tell me something that I don't know!

The problem w/ Americans is when you tell them how America’s began its decline & it will keep at it for a while, they go shields up without inquiring. To me, this is simply one symptom of the nation’s decline in several areas almost at once.
How is America in decline in a meaningful way? USA is still number 1 for wealth generation and opportunity (im saying this as a black american). I travel around the world and live overseas and our culture - from music to food, to business management and connections is still USA based and influencial.
The Democrats are usually the ones who get defensive because their party did most of the damage (albeit Republicans aren't totally innocent) and the left doesn't want to admit that their policies have failed. The rest of us are aware our country is on the decline. But the first step to rehabilitation is admitting you have a problem. The Dems will not admit they can't manage government, so the problems don't get addressed. The second step is handing yourself over to a higher power. The left is increasingly becoming atheist, so that is another roadblock to recovery. As a nation, we need to vote out the left. And pressure the right to keep us out of war. We need to vote out any politician who supports mass immigration or supports the military industrial complex. And then, we can start to admit our problems.
If you are from US or Canada - Mexico and other LatAm are obvious choices. Don't look to far away countries like Cambodia unless you plan to just go there and stay forever. Think if shtf happens or you get low on funds and have to go back etc. It is better to stay close in one region so you can go back and forth easily.
I have recently been told that in the fine print of the US passport, it says it can be taken away from you when ever the government wants. This guy randomly said this for no reason and even bothered to show me where it said. What other country threatens to take away your passport if they don't like you?
Most countries declare that your passport is government property, not yours. Why? So that it can legally be taken away from you without them having to justly it. That’s a thing for many other passports.
Passport because it is issued by the Government , is considered the property of the Governmen, and it’s citizen a holder! If any Government suspect that a Passport is been used in any illegal activities, it can be seized…
Went to Italy in 2018, and I had to get health insurance before going there, and it cost 75 dollars. Otherwise, it would have cost me 300 euros at passport control in Italy. It was because they had universal health care in Europe. They wouldn't accept the health insurance we have here.
Paraguay is a country where they have Zero Tolerance for anything. Much more developed countries have less restrictions. I have lived 12 years in Europe. Not American, but if America really was the worst at EVERYTHING, it wouldn’t have the highest level of both legal and illegal immigration in the world. I feel like this opinion is coming out of a place of privilege, if you lived in some of the places these immigrants are coming from you’d think the US is the best country ever.
Not sure why it’s tied with Brazil. I hold both a Brazilian and Portuguese passport. I generally use the Brazilian one outside Europe and it’s hassle free, and actually better than EU in some countries like in Thailand. Other than that, banking is also fine. Our family including our kids have dual citizenship. USA & EU. Living in USA for the last 15 years, traveling to Canada, China, Europe for holidays without any problems. I myself travel to Asian countries for my work 3-4 times a year, everything goes smoothly.

The health system in America is crazy expensive. Getting an appointment takes months. I was thinking, by the time it’s our turn, we might have dead if we didn’t look for alternative treatments like the Oriental herbs , acupuncture and the like. Besides, Dental and vision treatments are way way much more reasonable, and affordable in Malaysia. The funds we had to pay after deductible out of our own money we can book a round trip flight ticket from the USA to Malaysia for special health medical , dental, or vision treatments and yet take a short vacation than treating in the America even with health care insurance. BTW, the quality of health care in Malaysia is excellent. I was told that many expats had made special medical treatment trips to Malaysia.
Why wouldn't it? My passport is useless cause it's easier to jump the border than come in normally. I'm an American but when I went to LAX, I was held for 15 minutes and they even sent an armed guard and dog near me to see my reaction. Like really bro? You do this to a fellow American but let illegals in no questions asked?
While I agree with many of the things Andrew presents, he is not being fair regarding the requirements for Brazil and other countries (i.e. Romania). The reason the USA imposes requirements for many countries is because people who come from certain countries tend to overstay their visas and become illegal immigrants. With regards to Tick Tok, this is in many sense protecting our election and free trade. Just look at the EU's tarriffs on EVs from China. It is OK to make a point, but be fair.
If the US was worried about illegal immigration, they'd have just shut down the border where MILLIONS are flooding in through illegally. Aside from that, this is not the 90s, Romania has become wealthier, also Romanians can go to the EU to find jobs, no need to deal with the nonsense of US immigration or visa processes. They can take a quick flight a few thousand miles and work in other parts of Europe in wealthier countries. Also, Romania has advanced quite a bit and are becoming wealthier. Inform yourself.

I dont understand why people want America to fail so badly. If America fails, so does the world. As someone who traveled with an American passport, I can still get into most countries visa-free. Americans living in other places or countries forget that they are able to enjoy a good lifestyle due to the $$, they aren't living like the local people. How many multi-super-rich people are leaving America?
The plan to destroy America has been in the works for decades. Working to destroy ownership, business, education freedom is being assaulted daily. Time to move on.
What if a country scrubs your social media and see you have been talking shit about them and reject entrance into the country.... Just because of some offensive jokes. The world is moving more towards the social credit scores... This could become inevitable
USCIS has taken note of some OnlyFans "models" online presence and rejected their visas, on the grounds that it's prostitution, and they'd be likely to engage in such upon entering the country.
If you earn about $100k a year or less overseas, there is absolutely no income tax paid to the US. (Foreign earned income exclusion). For over that, there are mutual tax treaties with most countries. There is 15.3% self-employment tax, if you are self-employed, which may be harder to get out of. I can see somebody consistently hit with that wanting to trade passports. But if you are an employee (including a contractor working exclusively for one employer), there is no tax issue beyond the inconvenience of having to file. As for the perception of Americans abroad, it has greatly improved since countries like Russia and China have ramped up their bad behavior and the last foreign adventure the US went on was some years ago. In addition, present yourself well and don't wear your nationality on your sleave and you will be fine. The only people who should see your passport are border officers and banks, and these people are professionals. There are many nationalities in this world perceived far worse than Americans (again, Chinese and Russians near the top now) and the US is, in fact, still highly regarded in many places and always was.
I hope to have my Colombian PP in the near future. I hate being a slave to the US through citizenship. And getting caught up in the geopoliticking that I have nothing to do with. Big Question: if your leaning on leaving the U.S. and have yet to become prosperous and expect to... would you wait for the result and get taxed or get out prior to gains on investment and seek a more tax friendly country? To afford the 25k consultation would be to wait for investments to provide the ability to ease relocating. Yet, also reach the status of having a hard hit on those gains before relocating
Its so hypocritical. Your videos state that a stable world and open trade are great for business and money making, but at the same time cry about paying your share of the costs that make this possible. Business needs an educated healthy workforce to prosper, but whaa whaa I don't want to pay any tax to make public schools and health care available. China is claiming territory that is not theirs in the Indo Pacific threatening trade routes and commerce, but cry, cry I don't want to pay my share of tax to support a military to keep trade lanes open. I could go on and on with countless examples, but you get the picture. You want all the benefits of a stable, educated, healthy world but don't want to contribute to that. You sir are a TAKER. Your heros, Reagan, Bush, Trump are the ones who combined created 80% of the current US debt, that you complain about. Maybe one day you will face reality.

ETIAS start date has been pushed back multiple times. The reason: hard to electronically coordinate the databases of about 30 odd countries' border guards. This is why the Schengen area has stuck to the old fashioned 'check the stamps' method for so long (places like Japan, Hong Kong, Israel have already switched to electronic "stamps" -- either on entry or exit or both). It has not been pushed back yet again to sometime in 2025.
As of July, 2024, Canada beat the US Passport ranking by 1 notch. Canada at 7th and US at 8th. Yahoo Canada "BRAGS" about the higher ranking. OK. Canadians have access to 189 countries visa free, while Americans at 188. Which country is that which Canadians can enter and NOT Americans? UZBEKISTAN. Well... lol. Like that's something to brag about? You can have that visa free access. In other words, Passport ranking is relatively overrated. If I have Passport X that has access to only 10 countries that include those in Europe, Americas and first world touristy nations, I'd rather have that than Passport Y that has access to 20 war torn nations that are volatile, with misogynistic, homophobic cultures or a nation of zealots that are and unsafe for tourists. Number of visa free nations shouldn't itself be the be all end all of passport power and dignity. It's the EXCLUSIVITY of its access to FIRST WORLD NATIONS. I don't care much for access to undesirable dangerous countries.
Hello, for the Hong Kong passport, you are wrong, dual citizenship is allowed (but in case of naturalisation you first need to redeem everything): Only valid for HK (Chinese) Chinese nationals of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with right of abode in foreign countries may, for the purpose of travelling to other countries and territories, use the relevant documents issued by the foreign governments. However, they will not be entitled to consular protection in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other parts of the People’s Republic of China on account of their holding the above mentioned documents.
"Why don't more Americans have a passport?" Two reasons: first, economic. When more than half the population can't scrape together $400 for an emergency expense, what the hell do you need a passport for? If you want to travel, cheaper to just stay in US. Second, anyone who can afford international travel probably has one.
Sad

Because people stay illegally in the USA 😂
I like the fact that Brazil has a law of reciprocity in place. If as a Brazilian you're required a visa, then that country should require one for Brazil.
@@katerinejonhson4416 That's why foreigners applying for a tourist visa are asked to show proof that they're not going to overstay their visa (employment letters, bank statement, investments in their home country, proof of residence and etc) but US consulates are indiscriminately denying most applicants so Brazil decided to show reciprocity.

@@deezeed2817the reason there has been a spike in demand for passports is due to more of the foreign countries that Americans visit requiring passport to visit and even the instances where a passport isn’t required having a passport simplifies the process so people are applying.
Don't try to get one then. Keep your money and go elsewhere. I am sure everyone knows what could happen if they are denied.
It's because of our southern border. We have so much illegal immigration. Which causes the government to punish legal travelers.
I’m glad other countries have implemented this policy especially to USA.. The self-entitlement of the USA needs to stop & it’s about time other countries tell the US: You don’t own the world!
I don’t want to be a us citizen for this reason
If you land at LAX from an International flight. When you go through US Customs. Their will be up to 6 long lines of people only holding American Passports. You will probably be one of the few that speaks English.
Of course, it's an international flight. Do you understand what international means? Please google it.
Facts
Sad.
Just go to Europe. More places to see than US and Canada anyway
Born and raised in Canada and still here unfortunately. Don't waste your time and money coming to Canada! The country has gone to shit!!!
The issue is that Brazilians overstay their visas in the USA at a massive rate. The rate is too high (by law) for the country to join the Visa Waiver Program and, therefore, for Brazilians to get visa free travel. So, if there's anyone to blame, it's your fellow Brazilians.

Go to Europe
How did that work out for you?
Can you specify which country and circumstance?
Needing a return ticket or at least a ticket out of the country, is very common wherever you go.

Agent.
Fr. US is likely top 10. Top 20 for sure

Most Swiss live in small apartment in 5-storey block🙃

Hey Nomad is there a link to your passport ranking list? I cannot see it in the description
www.nomadcapitalist.com/nomad-passport-index/
@@nomadcapitalist thanks I appreciate the response!
According to a list made by… another company.
I used a US passport to travel to 30 countries with no problems. Your subjective feelings as to what passport is best is your opinion.
Brazil wants to see your checking or savings account statements for a temporary visa???
NGH.
Hello, for the Hong Kong passport, you are wrong, dual citizenship is allowed (but in case of naturalisation you first need to redeem everything):
Only valid for HK (Chinese)
Chinese nationals of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with right of abode in foreign countries may, for the purpose of travelling to other countries and territories, use the relevant documents issued by the foreign governments. However, they will not be entitled to consular protection in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other parts of the People’s Republic of China on account of their holding the above mentioned documents.
10:58, that's a surprise voice
"Why don't more Americans have a passport?" Two reasons: first, economic. When more than half the population can't scrape together $400 for an emergency expense, what the hell do you need a passport for? If you want to travel, cheaper to just stay in US. Second, anyone who can afford international travel probably has one.
Exactky. We're separated from most of the world by two oceans. It costs about $1000 just to fly anywhere excepting Canada and Mexico
