Salaam, thank you for the review. I’m considering booking this hotel and would love to hear more about your experience. Would you recommend it? Also, how was your experience with the shuttle bus service, both going and returning? Thank you for your help-JazakAllah khair!
Jazakumullahu Khairan, brother. This is a very nice and informative video. Keep it up! I would like to know if I can get a taxi from the hotel for my mother, who is over 80 years old. Could you please let me know where the taxi will drop us off, how far that spot is from the Haram, and the approximate price for the taxi?
Nice video. Are you going to upload the next video from the bus stop to Haram entrance walk. Which door or side is near the bus stop. If some one decide to walk , how far is that and which entrance is closer?
Hello, here is the video of the walk, if you leave a comment on there, I will try to advise you: ruclips.net/video/JwHHaHreY6g/видео.htmlsi=NyOFZFj__lRfQrRG
Salaam brother apologies for the delay, video is scheduled to be out tomorrow 6pm which shows the inside of the bus etc. in short the company is called North West Bus, and cost when I travelled was 25 Saudi Riyal per person. You can book it online but website for me was glitchy and I couldn’t book it, so I booked it when I landed as they have their own stand in the North Terminal.
It's gone up to 35 riyals now. If you have more then 25kg they charge another 20riyals on top. You have to wait sometimes 25 minutes.if you find another couple better to chip in and go halves
Alhamdulillah you were fortunate to have a kettle in the room that you stayed. The room that we stayed (also a triple), did not have a kettle. When I asked the receptionist if the hotel can provide us with a kettle, he laughed and said ''No''. I think it is good advice for people on preparation for this Journey. If you do not have a kettle available in your room at Al-Kiswah Towers, you can easily purchase a kettle from the shops. We bought ours for 35 riyals and SubhanAllah, for us it was a life saver... I pray that you have a Blessed and safe Journey. All who go Makkah, please pray for us.... As salaam u alaikum I just finished reading some really terrible reviews of this hotel. I am really worried as we are booked for next weekend. Your video is reassuring but did the hotel know you were going to make a video hence they gave you a nice room?
Hello, the hotel did not know I was making a video, no sponsored video and I paid for my room as normal. Is there anything you are worried about in particular?
@@5MinuteSchool the reviews talked about how dirty the hotel was and included pictures showing the condition. They mentioned how customer service was also not good. I just want to make sure I won’t regret booking our stay at this hotel.
@@seemarana9781I didn’t really have any issues. You can see from the room tour the furniture is dated but overall it was clean. I didn’t see any cleanliness issues in the rest of the hotel either. Customer service was also fine for me - staff were all polite, they did us a favour keeping our luggage aside while we did umrah and giving us advice, they delivered all the rooms fruit platters in the evening etc. The only issue is the dates furniture in the room I guess. If you want something a bit more premium then voco would be a good idea, but in general I would stay in Al kiswah again with no issues.
The Kiswah shuttles are many. Sometimes they have different names on them. Ask driver. It drops you at kubree. 15 minutes walk to Masjid Masjid Haram as there is a lot of construction going on and there are barriers everywhere so you have to walk around in circles like an airport
@@shouq_at it’s a fair walk only because to get to the right gate you have to walk around. If you want a shorter walk then Anjum hotel is quite close (I have a video of it) and walking distance is less than 10 minutes to the Haram
Yes . And there are 2-3 restaurants close by. Low price .Broast restaurant 2 minutes walk outside hotel. 1 portion daal is 9 riyals . Comes with 2 rotis. Ideal for 1 person. If you want for 2 people order 2 for 18 riyals.
