You know whats sad? A literal random mod is able to have better animations for the plants than the current state of vanilla pvz2. Really shows how lazy popcap is to animate the plants and zombies currently.

The design, animation & even the concept this random modder is far way better than current popcap dev. The worse they've been made was the doom shroom 😢
@@zeozeto5457 pvz2 is in a horrible state honestly, the animations for the plants look so terrible even a 12 year old could animate better. How are these people employed.
I hope to work at PopCap one day and make a change to how we do animations

Looks really polished, they could touch up the balance a bit (Gatling Pea at 400 sun and shooting starfruit at 500 seem pretty OP) and then this could be the best PvZ2 fangame ever made!

These animations make me wonder why can’t a company big as Popcap make animations these good but a few talented people can? Oh wait, when was the last time they cared?
I wish PopCap would make better updates. The recent additions to the game have had weird designs and bad animations. I hope PopCap can make PvZ 2 better. They should start adding actual new features instead of Thymed Events and new plants. I would also love to see an official PvZ 2 pc port.

The new plants have the smoothest animation.....ahhhh it's so unfortunate thats not in the original game. Even the old ones looks too bouncy❤

there's a thing in desc but you have to put it into the web search thing also you can play online.
yeah there's only 3 worlds and I think it's just a beta because there's no progression you can get infinite free coins and don't have to unlock plants.
You can see the real effort that was put into the plant animations that in the original game look like cardboard and the design of the plants that were in the first game.

Interesting! Looks like it's maybe done b a Chinese dev? I wonder if that means we'll get some of the Chinese version content eventually. I'd love to get saucer squash, lily of alchemy and the two abyss plants eventually, along with some cleaned up versions of the China-exclusive worlds.

I love the mod, I should try, the problem is that I think some plants make the game easier, I mean way easier.
Plants such as umbrella leaf, coffee bean or planttern should return to pvz 2 at any cost.
I had the opportunity to try this portage. However even if I admit that the game is beautiful and the animations are cool. The main thing is not there for me. No point in playing this game if you can cheat and if you already have everything unlocked.
The pleasure of the game is also unlocking new plants during the adventure.

i mean you can just play through the levels normally and pretend youre unlocking plants
