  • Welcome to my last rockhounding adventure for now. This was probably my most successful one. I found so much beautiful and non-brittle Chrysocolla - it was amazing! And the caves around there proved to be a fun little extra adventure! Just please excuse my kinda gross fingers here… That was after hours of scrubbing hundreds of rocks and thus.. not so pretty.

That dirt road you said it was too rough that's considered paved in Arizona.😊

We found some of that outside Payson. There was a random little pocket about 4 or 5 miles off the hwy.

I can’t wait to start doing that . We live in Peoria and never been rock hounding before . Gibbs start getting hot here soon so I’m planning on starting at the end of this year . I know nothing about it

That's a pretty cool place to explore. Down the road from there you can find Chrysacolla with Barite and beautiful blue copper stained quartz. Have also found blue druzzie there. Look's like blue diamonds. Rock shows love it. Sold a shoebox full for $28,000. So cool.

Nice, thanks for the Adventure. Just was wondering what you end up doing with the Chrysocolla? Keep up the Adventures.

Arizona ladies know how to take care of their skin. 1/16 inch coating of Sunscreen. They take it very seriously. It's their religion.
