    Just FYI. My own testing on the UV sterilizer shows UVC and a total UV rating at >375nm. More than efficient for surface sterilization. But I would recommend monitoring the UV radiation periodically as UV will reduce over time...for 5 minute cycles it should last quite a long time.

    The naming seems backwards flexible mode should be the give mode as in the voltage is flexible and can adjust itself providing give, where as efficient mode keeps the voltage constant even when pressure is applied providing a more efficient needle penetration by always keeping the cps the same . Seems totally the opposite of what you would expect

      Yeah this has been brought to their attention by several of us. Think it's just a language barrier thing. Because it is exactly backwards to how we interpret the wording.

      So which is for lining and packing and while the other is for shading?

    • @x_z0mb1_x
      @x_z0mb1_x Год назад

      @The Shop it's personal preference depending on your tattoo style you could make either mode work for you depending what you like

      @@theshoptattoos I look at is as flexible mode is lining. It's a harder punchier hit. Efficient mode runs slower and softer. You can feel the motor bog down as you press harder. For me that's better for shading. My comparison is the flexible mode is like the wand packer. The efficient mode is more like the wand shader. Though you never really get that "bog" feeling on the bishop machines.

    Hello.
    I have that machine, and I can tell you... that the F mode is like the give of the flux, or the response mode in the Cheyenne unlimited. And the E mode is the constant mode. The information they give is wrong. When you put it in F mode the sound feels different, it is the mode that would be used for shadows...etc, and for lines the E mode, setting it at 9-9.5v, to be able to outline, since it goes slower than the mode F. Do you agree with me? Cheers

      Yes their descriptions are backwards. Was just talking to vision (tattoo theory on here) about that. He's one of their pro team artists. Flexible mode is really for lining. Efficient mode for shading.

      I have also talked to him. and he confirmed...that the modes...according to the information from ai tenitas...are changed....the F mode is a response mode as in the cheyenne unlimited...and the E mode is a mode. .constant..it does not lose strength in the blow. do we agree?😊

      @@thunderjota I find all being the same. Say 7v. Flexible mode runs faster and hits harder. As soon as I switch to efficient mode it slows down and hits softer. For me the flexible mode is like the wand packer. And efficient mode is like the wand shader.

    Where did you get the rubber grip for the pen?

    • @1Dantrn
      @1Dantrn  2 года назад +1

      I buy a case of disposable bishop wand grips and then take the rubber off of them. Basically just turn it inside out to get it off of the wands plastic center. Then you have a nice rubber grip to slide over other pens. I put them on everything. Unlimited, valhalla, peaks pens. And now on the prophet.

      I thought it looked familiar. Lol. I been using bishops and love them ,but also want to try this one.
      Thank you

      @@marioguerrero1157 yeah I have the wand packer and shader as well. This prophet is a great pen though. When you switch from flexible to efficient mode it literally feels like it just changed motors. It very much feels like going from the packer to the shader.

      @@1Dantrn so which do you prefer? The bishops or the prophet. And also, did you try the acus m1 and How do you feel about that compared to the prophet

    • @1Dantrn
      @1Dantrn  Год назад +1

      @@ExpeditionHawk if I were looking to save money I'd buy the prophet. I do like having customer service within the US and you can't go wrong with a wand. The bishops are smaller and lighter. I have not used the Acus pen. For the price I was leery buying a new companies first machine. Granted you're basically getting a cheyenne. My overall go to machine has been the ink machines cobra for quite a while. It's just personally the most comfortable for me to use.
