    In Andhra it is called as "Neeli Shanku Pushpam". Neeli = violet/Indigo

    I do..but you don't have to boil the flowers..u just have to put the flowers lastly in boiled water and cover with a lid on that vessel without flame..

    M just surprised to see that the coconut shell didn't catch on fire.. Bcoz usually I use the coconut shells as fuel in my wood stove and trust me it catches on fire real quick and burns super fast.

      If you put a dry coconut shell on fire it'll definitely catch fire but if you put some water inside it then I'll not catch it.
      Even if you put water in thick paper and then put it on the stove, it'll not burn...just because water keeps it cool and doesn't let it catch fire...only for some time

    for this flower.. In sinhala language " Nil" means blue clour. This flower has lot of medical benifits.we are made so many foods from this. Search umandawa temple of sri lanka. There are so many recipes on there.
