    Grind the tea powder with spices separately and sieve. Then add it to the ground sugar and milk powder.
    That way you will not need to strain the tea!
    You're welcome! 😊

      But I'm curious, how will the tea flavor be extracted in this process? There is no boiling happening anywhere ..

      Grind seperately or together... how does it affect when hot water is added and straining of power needs to be done?

  • @kdmylove
    @kdmylove 2 года назад +30

    I cup milk powder
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 cup tea powder
    2 tsp Elaichi powder
    1 tsp dry ginger powder
    Optional - an inch of cinnamon if you like the flavor in your tea
    Mix and grind and store. To make, 2 cups of boiling water and to it add 2 tbsps. of tea premix. wait for 5 to 7 mins. Run it through a strainer so that the residue at the bottom of the flask doesn't get into your glass. This premix will give you about 22 to 25 cups of tea.

    Well the concept of instant tea goes away. if you have to strain it at home or travelling. But although this is inexpensive way to make good attempt. Thanks for showing how it is made. Would try it meanwhile if you are looking for instant team society tea premix elachi and masala flavour are good option. No straining add 2 scoops in one full large cup add hot water and enjoy. It took 2-3 min in whole process. No straining no sugar no milk to add. Have a great day. Will try this recipe too thanks for sharing information.

    Very good tasting chai, of course need to adjust milk powder or sugar to one’s taste. But very very nice idea for an Bharat desi chai instantly without fire, sure would wait for 10 minutes also to get to drink chai away from home or country.
    With troubles with the residue, best solution I came up with is to make small potli filled with 1person chai, like the ones our dear Nani used to make for Chole or any recipe which needed masala all in a small piece of cloth tied and dropped in the chole or while making homemade ketchup . So no worries with residue, and also disintegrates easily in the trash. Dhanyavad. Pranam.

    Thanks for such a wonderful idea! What is the size of the cup you have used for measuring in ml? Also instead of adding milk powder with the premix, i am thinking of adding milk after steeping in the premix into boiling water. How much quantity of milk would be needed for the same yield of 22 to 25 cups? I mean to say that i would like to brew tea in the usual way but using this premix except for it containing milk powder.
