Grind the tea powder with spices separately and sieve. Then add it to the ground sugar and milk powder. That way you will not need to strain the tea! You're welcome! 😊
I cup milk powder 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup tea powder 2 tsp Elaichi powder 1 tsp dry ginger powder Optional - an inch of cinnamon if you like the flavor in your tea Mix and grind and store. To make, 2 cups of boiling water and to it add 2 tbsps. of tea premix. wait for 5 to 7 mins. Run it through a strainer so that the residue at the bottom of the flask doesn't get into your glass. This premix will give you about 22 to 25 cups of tea.
Well the concept of instant tea goes away. if you have to strain it at home or travelling. But although this is inexpensive way to make good attempt. Thanks for showing how it is made. Would try it meanwhile if you are looking for instant team society tea premix elachi and masala flavour are good option. No straining add 2 scoops in one full large cup add hot water and enjoy. It took 2-3 min in whole process. No straining no sugar no milk to add. Have a great day. Will try this recipe too thanks for sharing information.
Very good tasting chai, of course need to adjust milk powder or sugar to one’s taste. But very very nice idea for an Bharat desi chai instantly without fire, sure would wait for 10 minutes also to get to drink chai away from home or country. With troubles with the residue, best solution I came up with is to make small potli filled with 1person chai, like the ones our dear Nani used to make for Chole or any recipe which needed masala all in a small piece of cloth tied and dropped in the chole or while making homemade ketchup . So no worries with residue, and also disintegrates easily in the trash. Dhanyavad. Pranam.
Thank you it’s just what I was looking for. There is a local brand available In 3 flavours. Am going to make it tomorrow esp when the maid is not there& I hate washing the dhoondh pati chai pan.
Thanks for such a wonderful idea! What is the size of the cup you have used for measuring in ml? Also instead of adding milk powder with the premix, i am thinking of adding milk after steeping in the premix into boiling water. How much quantity of milk would be needed for the same yield of 22 to 25 cups? I mean to say that i would like to brew tea in the usual way but using this premix except for it containing milk powder.
I hv tried the readymade tea mixes. They are not bad to taste. But it needs to be adjusted to a particular taste. Your recipe looks really good. Will definitely make it. But from the colour of the tea it looked like a strong one. If I want a little more milk, what should be the proportion of the milk powder vs. Other ingredients. Will appreciate your help. ASAP of possible since travelling.
@@payalbedia1370Hi.... no I haven't since I was not sure of the measures. I wud appreciate your help/ reply to my query. When time permits. Then accordingly I will prepare the premix.. Thankyou ☕
Yep, we can in fact think of all those circumstances where it's a bit tough to make some tea and this homemade premix will be of great use at that time.😄

They grind in the machine very finely so no sediment remains.. our traditional home mixer usually doesn’t grind to that level of fineness is what i guess
@@himanshusoni528 possibly added color.. anything readymade has its own cons.. they make it instant for mktg & selling .. homemade is always a safer option
If you are amways waiting for water to boil and then another 7 mins for it to settle... might as well make it fresh....no point in preparing this mixture.... didn't appeal

Yes
But I'm curious, how will the tea flavor be extracted in this process? There is no boiling happening anywhere ..
Grind seperately or together... how does it affect when hot water is added and straining of power needs to be done?

Very very useful for lazy days as well as for traveling. Thank you.

Hi...which tea do you use for this as normally we have to use sieve to remove tea leaf or tea bag where you remove tea bag and throw before drinking
So true, we discard tea leaves after straining here we take it internally is it safe?
It came to be awesome,it quality was great 👍👍👍

Can it be any tea powder.also is it different from tea leaves

does this result in the tea bits at the bottom? I used a coffee grinder to grind the tea and it was not fine enough.

Do try Cups & Coasters Giloy/ Amla Tea it's yummy 😋

Powders don’t boil.
I think almond powder can be used if dairy milk powder is allergic???its useful for men when woman are away
But in that 5-7 minutes waiting time, I can actually make chai the normal way!
I guess it's where you don't have gas and can hot water from oven or otg.
You can carry hot water and readymade mix if you are traveling 🧳
Very useful whn u just don't want to have ur chai at any tapri or restaurant in small very small paper cup. Thanks for the recipe

Up to the expiry date of milk powder 😅

How do commercial pre-mixes get rid of the sediment ?!
They grind in the machine very finely so no sediment remains.. our traditional home mixer usually doesn’t grind to that level of fineness is what i guess
@@umanerurkar1664 thanks for the reply, but in the commercial premixes we don’t have to give a stand-time, the colour immediately comes to the tea!
